Thank you for sharing, I appreciated the fact you explained what you were doing step by step, I would've like to have seen all of the end results especially the crumble one
Wow tie dye has really changed over the years. When I was _younger we used rubber bands and a tub filled with water and Rit color packets. I'm gonna try some of these. Thanks for sharing.
I love the dye
I think I like the shobori look the best
If you're only using one colour, you'll get a more intense colour, if you soak the t-shirts in dye, after tying.
The rolling pin tee, super cute! Craft stores have t-shirts for $3 on sale all the time! Blessings!
Your video is relaxing coz im hearing those birds
Very helpful !
Shirt should be barely damp when dyed
i could listen to you speak all day
Wow they turned out so cute.
You are a good Teacher

Very cool to see so many patterns in the same video, good inspiration for my kid and I
Fine Video !
Acrylic paint mixed with water works too!! I love using older shirts (not always white) that have stains, and then tie-dye strategically to cover the stains. I have a few pillowcases too that are a bit yellowed, so perfect project to tie-dye! Love that shibori method - I'll try that maybe with a baseball bat! So fun - great way to get the kids outside, even for a few minutes! :)

Megan do you mean acrylic paint and water works as a dye
@megan2176
3 жыл бұрын
@@maddiesmith9602 Ya! I'm not sure of exact measurements, but I use those yellow/red squirt bottles usually used for ketchup and mustard, and squirt a bit of paint in them and add water! Too much paint leaves the clothes crunchy though. Trial and error. :)

@@sandrasargeant1230 Ya, I think the more cotton the better the dye sticks. I've tried tie dying my son's sporty "shiny" polyester type shirts, and the dye washed right out.
Some more of tie dye❤
Thank you, I learned a lot from you,and still willing to learn more
Really enjoyed viewing Thankyou
What happened to the crumple one?
This was helpful! Thank you!!!
It's beautiful thank you for showing your tie-dye GB🙏🙏👏👏❤️❤️
I wish you you do the all of the patterns
thanks you from Indonesian🇮🇩 your video is very useful🌼
Ok these videos are so relaxing ahhh the pretty porch and the sunlight😌
I’m definitely gonna try this
Thanks for sharing. And I would try the food coloring again but instead of just using a couple of drops use like almost the whole bottle with that amount of water so the color can actually saturate and really get in the fabric 😊

Food coloring is really acid dye. It will only stain cotton but it will dye protein based fibers such as wool with the addition of acid (vinegar or Citrix acid) and heat.
Please please where did you find please anyone tell me . Did you find this from the kit please tell me patterns name 🙏🙏
i love it all ahhhh!!!!! i want to start
I like sweet stripes and the first forth one asswell

Tie dying has to be done with white vinegar salt and cold water for food coloring can also be done with warm water if you prefer I prefer cold water will help the colors dissolved more and they won't bleed out how ever you prefer better I would love to see more videos On tie dye I think you did a very good job hope to see more videos

I would suggest watching Mr Tie Dye.
Food colouring only works with protein based fibres - eg wool, silk
did you use water for the food coloring technique?
Love the sweet stripes one!!
tried the rainbow swirl😃😃
Oh my god first video and already like it
Thanks for your help 👍
Love tiydie made some
After you apply the dye, do you let it dry then wash it?
Those came out great I want to try to make for my hippie costume...but can you use RIT DYE instead of a kit brand ?? Just wondering witch dye is best ...great video 👍🏽

Thank you so much for the idea of tie dye, This is a big help for me who is just starting my business, and I can also upload my work on my youtube. I hope there are many new uploaded videos that we can study, thank you godbless...
the content and tie-dye are just astounding!!
Cool Crumples were missing 😳
Great video - You can make your own dye with craft acrylic paints! 3 parts water to 1 part paint. And you don't have to soak the shirt before hand. Let it dry then wash as normal.
Wow wonderful
Can you try the light blue sunburst that goes from one side fading to white. It’s on the back of a tulip kit, but no folding instructions.
I was really hoping to see the crumple blue shirt
What are you adding to the food colors to make the sick?
what kind of dye do u use to stay parmanent
SOOOOOOOOOOOO cute i love all
You are so pretty
you are awesome. Thank you.
How did you achive a single line or stripe dye design the blue one you are wearing
wait do you put water for the homemade one ?
Sweet stripes for me
A suggestion to make your tie dye easier. Wash you shirts it removes any chemicals from manufacturing that might prevent the dye from working properly. Once washed the shirts are at the perfect amount of damp for tie dye. Also if you use kitchen utensils for tie dye do not use them for food again. Granny @tiedyeagogo
I got a dress in my closet that turned yellow. I think my niece gave it to me. It’s a pretty dress It’s going to look awww when I done
pls do the ombre one
I love you so much I am second yassssss
I didn't wait I was so anxious for 8 hours and I run it over the top and the coloured watch out I learnt my lesson

Was your item 100% cotton? Dyes won't work on polyester. And if you want bright colors try Tulip Tie Dye kits. It's also important to wash the item first.

Are you doing hot or cold water? First shirt I did kept bleeding since I was washing it in hot water. Next ones I did in super cold water and there was barely any bleeding.

Annie DiGirola make sure that you are washing with cold water or all the dye will come out
@cherylparker5099
3 жыл бұрын
@@cathyxoxo If you are using Tulip dyes you can rinse them after 8 hours but 24 hours is better. You start by rinsing in cold water, moving to warm water, then to hot water. I then wash in the hottest water my machine gives. Also make sure the item you are dying is 100% cotton, silk, rayon or wool. And using soda ash helps the dyes take better. Wash items before dying. Then soak in the soda ash. Most dyes take 48 hours to cure and then they are spent. You should also wrap the item in plastic wrap or a plastic bag for the entire curing time, to keep it damp, which keeps the dyes active.
you haven't given the link of the dying colour you bought from amazon. please tell us what do we search

Can you speed up drying by putting it in a dryer right away? Can you do the painting on dry shirts by just thinning out the paint? Working with a child & you know how they want the results right away Txs

Hey how are you, I want to ask how long does a bottle of dye last , like after how many shirts will it finish
@hannahyancey7812
Жыл бұрын
if have not found out use the bottle in the first 24 hours of making the dye and it depends on how much you use of how much shirts it will do
To keep your pattern thru multiple washings, you must use SODA ASH instead of just soaking in water. Soak them for 20-30 minuets each. Then make your pattern.
I didn't realise you were toy caboodle! 😆
Great tutorial! Simple and easy to understand, thank you!
I have all colours friend
Yes
With the rolling pin, you should also tie it down with natural thread so it doesn't resist but keeps its shape.
Wow
It's pronounced 'Caboo-dale'! Ask Captain Holt if you want :P
Thank you❤❤❤ i love it!!! I try to make my own too 😆😆
This technic comes from india around 2000 year ago and more it is called bandhnu ki rangai (tie and dye) .
