  I'm confused why do some put the dyed pieces in a plastic bag and you're doing it the other way around by leaving it in the sun. I love your pastel outcome though. Maybe you get different effects with both the procedures. ❤

  Finished 6 castings of my mothers hands. Used a water/Elmer’s glue mixture 1st then painted with acrylic paint. Waiting for them to dry completely before I paint them with a sealer. How long should I wait? Weeks? I also want to label each on the bottom with her name and date. Not sure what kind of pen to use that won’t smear when I paint the sealer over it. They are actually for myself & all my siblings. Our mother is almost 90 & fighting cancer again so we did these before she got bad. Do you have any recommendations for which pen to use? Thanks!
