Hi Anna, I have benefitted greatly from your videos! I'm a first-time 3rd and 4th grade teacher just starting out this Fall. The Daily 5 and Reader's Workshop are new concepts to me, but I would like to give it a shot. My question for you is: do you have Writer's Workshop in addition to Guided Writing?

The large-sized cardstock is actually file folders, and they were folded in on both sides to make it look like a book... I would like to know, if this program could be guided for parents, we still do not have professional teacher training (in my case mother, I am an engineer graduated in Venezuela, but I am not a teacher), does this program have the answers? , of how the children should respond correctly and I as a parent guide me, of how the child should respond, for each Specific comprehension skills that you mention, such as: story elements, Summarizing, retelling plot, sequencing events, cause and effect, beginning-middle-end, character analysis, how characters chance, making connections,

do you have a list of things you put in your guided reading notebook for yourself as the teacher?

Are all of your videos/strategies applicable to 5th grade, or is is strictly lower Elementary? I love your videos!

They can definitely be applied to 5th graders, it may take some tweaking depending on the students abilities, but yes, for sure.
