I think we don’t always tell people how much we appreciate them. I have been watching you ever since my child was 2 weeks old and even though I have always given likes to your videos, I never left a comment in one of them. I would like to thank you because due to you, your advice , work, ideas , creativity , wisdom , and motivation through your videos , my 5 year old to be is already reading first grade level. Thank you sooo much . I have literally watched pretty much every KZread video from you and have also purchase over $170 of your work. I thought of homeschooling my child longer but I am going to school to become a nurse so I will be sending her to a classical Christian school. Only God knows if I will homeschool her after finishing my career. I will still be 💯 involved in her education at home . Thank you Jady for all the support you give moms through your videos and making your material affordable for us to purchase.🙏 May God continue blessing you more. You have wonder and smart kids. It seems you’ve done an excellent job.

Great ideas! You are right, the more they write the better they get at it! And they build confidence to write more! I have a 5yr old and 3yr old…they love to write grocery lists like mommy! Copy work is great for that & then get into pretend play! They even have notebooks and take our orders for their “restaurant” Each month we work on writing birthday cards to our extended family members while adding stickers or a fun craft & mail them off as well! Shared writing is also a great way to incorporate daily writing! I use to teach elementary school and now I get to stay at home & we decided homeschool was our next journey! Thanks for all of your tips you are a wonderful mentor!

Thank so much for this video. Writing is a component I plan to focus on more this year with our three boys as the curriculum they were using in their school last year was weak in writing. I was trying to figure out ways to pull in the various components & you have it all here in one binder. This was very helpful.

Hi Jady. I do exactly the same with my kids. I"ll share an activity my kids like: we have a basket with words from newspapers (among nouns, verbs, adj and avb), so I pick up one and say the word, then they have to write a sentense using that word. They write very funny and amazing sentences. Also they can recognize the type of word... And place them alphabetically... Well so many activities. Thanks for this video.

This is fantastic! My daughter wants to write a story like a book that includes conversational type writing with (“he said “…..” and she said “……” ). Do you have any tips on integrating this type of writing into a longer story or book style writing assignment? I have looked everywhere and it’s not often included in writing assignments so any tips would be fantastic. Mostly I’m curious if there’s a rule of thumb on how often to include a name, he/she said or replied etc. or if there’s anything else to help clarify this process. Thank you for all your hard work!
