Omg Jadi I just love your teaching approach and style to motivate children by meeting them where they are and being intentional with systematic approaches. Your videos have saved time, money, and excessive unnecessary repeats when I was engaged in my grandson’s learning. I put aside what educators and literate dictates about the approach to teaching various learners. For example, your video training on the alphabet recognition vs sounds approach was remarkable. My grandson was struggling with mastery of recall with the letters of the alphabet out of order . I took your advice and simply focused only on the sounds of the letters. I played your letter sound video daily and within three weeks he was able to fluently recall all the sounds of the alphabet (even out of order). Then he was able to pair the sound with the letter and increase in letter recognition. Then I watched one of your other videos about blending the sounds . I also purchased your book that is explicit about consonant vowel sounds training. That systematic approach gave him confidence and the ability to start to read. I want to thank you for sharing your God-given tool. I admire you for homeschooling your children and putting their education first. Thank you for sharing these systematic tips and creating this book for writing. Immediately when I began to search for writing tools, I went to your KZread channel. Again, you amazed me . As far as penmanship, the schools took away cursive writing, which I believed drastically helped a child build up their fine motor skills when it came to writing. At my son's school, whos in 2nd grade, they use this Fundations program, and they put all the focus on sounding out words. But my issue is that they don't necessarily teach them how to use words or provide definitions for words. So how is he supposed to comprehend a sentence when there is a word in it that he doesn't know what it means? Sure, he can sound it out, but if he's never heard or used that word before, then he's lost. Lastly, my older son, in 6th grade, his teachers prefer that the students would type everything. His penmanship isn't the greatest, which explains why. I advise all parents to closely monitor what's going on in their child's school because there's a lot of cut corners in the teaching today.

The kindergarten writing book - does it mention kindergarten inside the book or only on the cover? I have a 3rd grader with learning difficulties who is writing at a kindergarten level but would be discouraged by seeing it as a kindergarten book. I can unbind the book if it’s simply on the cover.
