Hey everyone I just want to say u don’t have to just do the glitch in the lab bc if u do this glitch during the kraven fight u will spawn as venom and have is grab ability and use finishers,I’m just putting this here if people want to use this glitch but want all his moves that are usable in the story

So I tried it, and it did work. But I also found out that if you do it too early you can spawn as spider man in the first part of the mission

@@knightwarrior8337 just keep pressing X, you’ll clip through a building, but go forward, and if you press X a few times after that, you’ll get on a building, and you can jump down. Hope this helps!

Got it working on my second try. Awesome! Anothrr tip if you dont know, turn the High Contrast Outline to black in accessibility settings to make it look more like Ultimate Spider-Man/ Comic Booky and combine it with the spiderverse FPS effect. Looks awesome

With we can switch to venom, Inssomiac needs to update this game to we have ng+ for venom

I don’t know how I did it but can actually climb on the buildings this is fun 😂

I wish they’d just implement a venom mode for ng+ where we could switch between Spider-Man and venom with ease. There’d be no reason for them to have to change mechanics for him either, just make the player have to switch back to Spider-Man to use vents and other mechanics venom doesn’t already have.

I glitched into the oscorp building as Spider-Man lol

hopefully, when that carnage dlc comes out, we can use Venom again. Hopefully.

If you are pressing x when the screen goes black and you're getting to Peter standing in the laboratory that means you are pressing x too soon. I generally wait until the abandoned mission window begins to disappear and press x.

Im now curious how they are gon do that his animations to be fast as like them maybe he is gon be like Hulk or conbine with them we don't know what they will do but i cannot wait to play this game even you can play as miles as peter and venom thats too much fun

I can confirm that there are poses and all of that especially expressions with the mouth

Pro tip when you do the glitch in your free roam don’t pick up injured civilians or do car crashes or restart the last checkpoint because venom will bug and when you restart the last checkpoint you spawn as Spider-Man

If you do the glitch while your fighting craven it works and you start already on the ground just make sure to press X as soon as the abandon mission notification goes away

i also found out that when picking up an injured citizen venom will unlock the ability you web zip and web to a point

I have a question ivoltex did you see a version where venom is still in the lab?

The glitch actually bugged for me and I got run around the oscorp lab as Peter!

Thank you so much, man. ❤ Edit : I wish there wasn’t a glitch through buildings and when I hit save gam in manual I become Spider-Man not venom so I have to start it over again. And I hope insomniac don’t patch this glitch like they did all the venom glitches.

Can you make a video of how to glitch out of a map another way

I can almost guarantee when the game ports to PC and modders get their hands on the code, we'll have a fully fleshed out and usable Venom coupled with his own web swinging. Modders have already made animation packs for the previous games, so it wouldn't be so far fetched for a full Venom mod. Imagine if the web swinging is just massive tendrils that shoot out of his arms and return to his body like the Venom movie!

I'm still waiting for this game to come out on PC.

I did it your way but waited further in the mission to start

What happens if you fast travel? Or change outfits?

Can confirm it works during the Kraven fight as well and you spawn with venom on the ground already.

Yes, you can do the glitch at any point in the Venom mission, so it is better to do it later in the mission. I created a save where I was outside with all the hunters attacking me and do the glitch there. Grabbing the symbiote brutes as Venom is hilarious.

I did it and now im peter in the room where harry gets the symbiote back

Whenever I get past the photo mode part it keeps on glitching and not letting back into the menu Edit: I think the glitch is patched whenever I try to do venom’s jump it won’t let me and I just fall through the map I’ve gone through 10 attempts with the same results either it’s patched or it’s really bugged out

Its not patched after u leave photo Mode just press options 1 time wait 3 seconds and the Menu opens And of u spawn as Venom u need to jump against the nearest building and Spam x i had the same Problems (if u die as Venom u turn into spiderman again)

gonna give you a little tip that worked for me: when you click abandon mission and spawn as venom in the sky, I made it so that when I cliked the left arrow on my controller, it makes the game run in slow motion. Then I would drop near a building roof because due to slowmo the game rendered the building and did not phase through them. hope this helps!

You have to press x when the abandon mission screen disappears and the screen goes completely black.

After the screen goes completely black it shows an image of venom. Does that mean I was too late to press X?

It's crazy to think that there has never been a venom free from since 2005 ultimate spider-man. You only play as venom for 1 mission while the game is filled with MJ missions and Peter Parker missions. I truly do not understand WHY the developers double down on these boring MJ missions instead of actually fun characters like venom or black cat

When youre in photo mode hit up then x. It's basically asking "do you want to quit photo mode yes or no"

and no has a code for it that hasent been claimed
