This along with the Venom glitch are a perfect example of glitches that that make the game more fun, I really hope Insomniac doesn't patch them.

Honestly, if anything, the lack of traversal options makes sense. Peter is still really inexperienced as Spider-Man at this point in time, so it makes sense that he'd not know a lot of his future mechanics.

@@superultrablitz9027 Well yeah, I know. It's just a matter of "Okay, these features aren't available, on purpose or not. How can we make sense of it narratively?" I think the lack of traversal options benefited the narrative, intentional or not. It's like when you do something by accident and it turns out to be beneficial to you.

I would really love a costume-less skin for Peter and Miles in this game, but I understand they probably avoid that because like imagine their faces in cutscenes that usually have the mask 💀 no mouth or eye movement

As someone who doesn’t care about these kinds of glitches, I personally hope they will announce dlc for this game. I know Ng+ is coming but I didn’t expect that this game had a lack of content after finishing the game. The game is so great but nothing to do after the ending.

I know that’s a problem thought that as well, you could beat the game in a day without doing side content an doing everything including all the side content you could still beat it after 2 or 3 days. I wanna play it again but waiting for the Ng+ but also hope more content could be added after we finish the game.

Tbh there is nothing to do after completing the first game too but I really wish they add something like uncharted so we can enjoy ourself more after end game. Like changing character's model or just some useless collectibilities so that I can gladly swing throw the city all over again.

I mean it's expected tho. Coz story games aren't like multiplayer or live service games that are supposed to keep you playing over and over and over and over. Single player story games are meant to be enjoyed then there's an end goal once you get the platinum. It's not designed as a repetitive experience. But like the other comments noted, there's gonna be new game + added as well as likely an eventual DLC down the line like they did for Spiderman 2018 coz they left a lot of plot holes in some of the side missions and side quest content so I would imagine that will be used to tie up loose ends there when they eventually get to it.

@@rud3b0ygaming ik but they should have at least added ng+ or something. And games like horizon: fw can easily keep you playing for 50 hours.

If anyone is having a problem where you cant web zip, I got you. Basically, if you don't see the web zip point, then you messed up the glitch. When you wanna retry DON'T restart from last checkpoint. You need to actually abandon mission and try again. I don't know why, but it is what it is. Hope that helped

seeing him do that as peter made me realize how scary that is 😭

I did something similar but once you’re about to hand the photo to JJJ you jump on a few cars holding r2 and you try getting on top of the daily bugle. I was wall running for a little bit and I accidentally did this. So I believe there’s an easier way to free roam as young Peter

Man I loved this game so much but it just seemed like there were so many missed opportunities like black cat being in the game more especially when Peter got the back suit and shocker being killed off screen also would have been cool to see the prowler

there’s also another one in the high school part. you need to get to the “take thumb drive” part, crawl to top left corner, and just wiggle around and jump and it should kick you out to the football field. just happened to me today

I honestly might just use this to free roam on a bike. It’s a cool option for traversing the city that is pretty underutilized. Though it makes sense its not used to get around because we have far better ways to get around.

To be fully honest, I would enjoy this a lot because I don't do a lot of tricks when web-swinging usually.

hey caboose I've only had one question since the release of the game.... What level of swing difficulty do you have and do you use fall damage??? I know for me I'm hardcore I like it where the swing is all the way down and fall damage on.... but lemme just say it ain't NO fun trying to do a loop da loop and splatting on a building.

It got patched but if you go to the other wall theres a similar set of rocks that you can use as a ramp and you can get out of the construction area just be careful to not go anywhere near you checkpoint as it will try to force you towards it

Ive replayed the game 3 times now and every time i get this mission i pick a different suit so far i got the black suit the advanced 2.0 and the classic suit gonna do the arachknight suit next

Why isn't this a skin or at least a web slinging only part to keep the emersion of people not finding it who he is.

I get why they don’t do Peter/Miles unmasked in the story missions but if they gave it to you when you completed the game 100% just to have for free roam & do crimes…that’d be dope🔥

Work around for if the game has been patched - disc only: 1) if in the mission and trying to do the glitch, abandon the mission. 2) save game and make sure you know the save file slot you're using. 3) delete and redownload the game. 4) allow the game to download without any updates. 5) start the mission. 6) do the glitch as Caboose explained. 7) enjoy.

This is not working for me. I do all the steps but when I get on the water/rocks the zip to point icon never pops up. Any suggestions?

If it doesn't work the first time then you have to actually abandon mission and try again. You can't keep restarting to checkpoint because then it won't work for some reason

Are we sure this is a glitch? Cause you can do the same thing in Spider-Man 2 the Movie Game, and it's a hell of a coincidence if a similar glitch exists in both.

How you do the lil hop at wit the bike. Cant seem to get that bunny hop animation

Why can't they just let us be peter and miles? It doesn't matter that people see you, it's a video game.... it's meant for you to have fun and play your way.

this worked the first time yesterday, but i went in water and couldn’t move. since then, i have been retrying, i can do everything except swing. i don’t get the ability to shoot webs do you know a fix?

I mean you can save before starting the mission and just go back to that save and do it again

I got my 1st platinum on Spider-Man 2. I enjoyed my 36hrs with it. Now its time to move on to something else

Gee I wish I knew this before I completed the game 100% and I don’t plan on making a new same file until new game + becomes a thing

Funny thing is since the game still thinks you’re riding the bike when you webbing with two hands he looks like he’s riding the bike

I accidentally did this but I can't remove it, I can't web swing or switch to miles I don't know what to do, I've tried resetting my save file, and everything, help

I literally got on the side of the fence and then abandoned Mission and then it let me swing around as Peter in the main story

maybe insomniac could include peters younger self, in the game manually without tryna glitch it you know, like you can free roam as venom glitching him out in the kraven mission in times square. you can ask them. it would have to be like gta 5 character switcg. switch to the darkside and go bite some heads off as venom.

Fairly sure it’s been patched already. Tried it twice and I couldn’t web zip and then I couldn’t swing or run either I was just basically a civilian lol

@@Password1234nikko At the water part. I’m able to successfully get out of bounds and cycle to the dock but once I get in the water and go up on the rock I can’t jump or sprint I only got out because I web zipped

When i jump in the water the circles ain’t there to web zip on I did it 3 times
