Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
In this behind the scenes fashion video, I take you on a real world paid shoot. I photograph 18 bridesmaid dresses in a studio for an online catalog. You will see my flash photography tips and tricks. Studio lighting setups can be simple. Strobe photography inside a studio is easy because you have control over all of the light, posing, models, modifiers, and wind.

Great video
Welcome to Thailand guys
lovely video. learned quite a bit. how do you feel about adding another speedlite behind your models ? would that add any value to your shots ?
OMGod you made that look TOO simple, that first shot is absolutely beautiful, your colors are spot on GREAT!!!!! I love what I'm seeing and I'm only at 5:05 minutes into the shoot. in cases like this, I also sit down!!! ok I'm doing something right, Cool. What lens are you using and what is your distance? You are so professional giving each person their star moment.......

Awesome photos and video. How do you rate the Interfit S1 strobes? I am looking at buying them.
An excellent presentation Michael. Very clear, excellent explanation of the often overlooked details. And excellent images created too!! Thank you for sharing.
Cool video nice job
I know I'm a year late. Only thing I thought was missing was the color passport checker. Great shots side, if the color is off it effects the whole shoot. But I liked the video. Umbrellas are underrated :)
Great video man! I’d love to know what you did for post processing!

Yes, me too!
Good work, I just wonder if putting a light lower down to stop the shadows at the bottom of the dress would have helped. And when I say help I mean to show the dress a little better. Artistically the shots are spot on, but think some more light is needed low down. the fan really helped also. very good models and that def helped.
hi i really enjoyed this video showing setup and approach - would having the main light centre stage have produced too flat of an image ?
@MichaelWrightPhoto
4 жыл бұрын
John Leigh yes. The mood board they sent me had directional light. So I wanted the main to be from the side.
Hi Michael, this is what I need. Thanks. Any links to show us how you edit your images?
i love your generous nature brother , just missed which camera and lenses used!
Nice job
Beautiful photos. How do u Ensure the full body shot are well proportional and models looks tall and stunning?
Great tips. May I ask what type of umbrella are those? I just bought two of these light.

Yuri A Jones thanks. They are just 86 inch white umbrellas. They were actually two different brands.
You had me at the snap not working 😂 great video. Question: What lens did you use on this shoot?
@MichaelWrightPhoto
4 жыл бұрын
24-70 GM 2.8 Sony
Who the hell was the 4 people that gave that gave this a thumbs down. Jeez hard to please
If you want the finger snap trick to work you have to say "hocus mapocus" 3 times before you press record. Great tutorial!

I liked the way your background look clean after the shots? Did you have to clean it in ps or it’s straight out of camera looking like that? Thanks in advance, good job
@MichaelWrightPhoto
4 жыл бұрын
It’s mostly how it looks. But I clean up any imperfections on the floor. Like scuff marks or the tape where the model was standing. Occasionally there may be a wrinkle in the background that I smooth in ps if it is noticeable.
@diviecili7949
4 жыл бұрын
Michael Wright Photo thanks for the fast answer 👍 yeah i referred more about the background, I still not sure what to use to make it flatter. I guess frequency separation maybe a good option for that. The best is if we can make it look clean straight out of camera of course because if we shoot 60 + looks in a day is less work to do in post. Keep up bro gonna watch ur vids often now. I have a photo studio in South of Brazil @lumierestudioofficial , cheers 🥂
Question I will be doing a shoot like your this week and the white or gray background is never smooth and I always have one side where the light is good and the other side light fall off… And I will be using a 7ft umbrella and a second Strobe …// what can I do to have perfect background as you do and light placement For the 7ft umbrella and the other strobe thanks in advance
Great video man.! Which backdrop stand was used for this video? I want to buy one but I don't know which to buy

ShadowFox Sports 24-70 gm. If I’m doing full length I use it. But I like an 85 better if I have more room or it’s a tighter shot.
What umbrellas are you using? Enjoyed your vid.

Superior Seamless Photography Background Paper, Photo Backdrop Paper 107" Wide x 36' (Dove Grey) I got it on amazon.
Question I see your using 2 lights and I see placement…… I have to do the same shoot tomorrow I am using a 7ft parabolic umbrella And a second octabox how should I place the lights and do I even need a second light if I’m using a 7ft umbrella
