yeah, with your shirt (i LOVE it!) you need to change the name of the channel to "Coco's husband explains photography lighting" this is what i try to get figured out. my results almost always seem too contrasty. what do you do for your "processed images"?

I think it is a better idea to show the face of the mua also, after thanking her. Provided she is still there. If not, just show a picture of the mua.
Don't you control the background with shutter speed? So to make the background lighter, just reduce the shutter speed.
