How many variations per each muscle we need during push, pull days ?

so do you think that doing 5 exercises on a push day is enough even for someone intermediate (less than a year) with my current split upper lower push pull legs?

do u train 0 rir every time(I do)?I am experiencing some nagging issues (no.progress in terms of reps from weeks and joint pain)with some exercises, do u switch exercises when progress stops ? And how do u progressive overload over a long period of time Please make a video about it 🙏

If you’re experiencing joint pain, maybe change movements. If you’re no longer progressing, why not change up your routine if it’s no longer workin?? These sound like questions a 12 y/o would ask

No need to hit the pecs in the shortened position? Aren’t these all the lengthened position? Curious about your thoughts on it.

these aren't the fully shortened pec variants but they still cover a lot of the ROM.

When people say middle pec, are they just talking about the middle fibres of the pectoralis major? Because it's just two muscles right? Sternocostal and clavicular?

Short answer, hes talking about preferentially hitting different fibers throughout the pec. Long answer, theres some debate as to whether the pec has two or three heads. Clavicular and sternocostal vs clavicular, sternal, and costal. Theres also some individual variation in people. Some people have a clearly seperated clavicular head while others' pec fibers all just fan out in an about equal distribution. Either way, you can preferentially hit the pec from a lot of different directions - its just that thinking about the pec in 3 portions is helpful.
