I did the counterclockwise turn to remove the needles and it worked perfectly. Rods stayed put and it was easy to put them back on. Make sure you mark their location on a piece of tape before you remove them though...

Interesting but I would never be able to do this. Is there anyway I could install tvs at back of the head rest.

hiya buddy i,m having issue with the temp gague i took it of put it back but after a while the temp gague will jump up and stay up some times it will go back to normal do you think i have a fault somewhere. it every time i put the key in the clocks jump a little and when it jumps thats when the temp just going above the red where the neddle get stuck. any advise will be great thanks in advance

Hi these new video's are brill, im looking to change my dials and headlights and bumpers soon...few questions tho, RRS 2006 bonnet catches above the grill, common fault, mine wont grab every time. and will you be opening up a headlights to add the new style DRL rings ( oven bake )..i need the dim's...lastly a oil change would be nice...lol...lol...thanks pal keep up the great work...100% BRILL

Hi - we have not done this but it should be similar to a degree - there are some companies out there offering repairs for the LCD screen - it is normally the conductive joint on the ribbon cable going to the screen - i think they use anisotropic adhesive which fails. ( in a previous life i used to work in the electronics industry.... but that's another story )

Hi - i have done the video today on how to remove the fridge - this should show you the loom and connector that are needed - in the end it is just 2 wires - Earth and Ignition live ! As it is so simple i am pretty sure that they will have fitted this connector to all cars !

Does anyone know if these instrument clusters work in a defender?

What kind of Led bulbs are they? I was wanting to change the color from green to red.

powerfulukltd great thanks, I did ring a Westfalia distributor in Harrogate today, he said they couldn’t get spare parts and I’d need to ask Land Rover, I rang them and they couldn’t help, could only get me a full new tow bar! If you could get hold of these gearbox parts I’m sure that would help loads of people out, seems to be a weak link in the whole system. Thanks

And you broke the rev, temp and fuel pointer motors... they will never work as they should again. Worth including such information at least in description as that would potentially save many people lots of money..

@@rajdattani1507 if you pulled out the shafts out of the pointer motors then test them to see if they move smoothly. You'll see what the problem is. In some very rare cases it's not apparent straightaway, they seem to still work but stutter a bit and sometimes won't go back to zero. What to avoid? Removing the pointers at all unless you have a really valid reason but if you do, you should already have experience in removing them without damaging the motors.

Stupid method.pulled rods and spoiled motors.Just needed to unscrew the arrow anticlockwise

OK I did not realise you could it this way - I have purchased some clocks off ebay and will do a video with this method
