    His dreads looking better and better everytime, definition of trusting the process

  • @tbbjae

    @tbbjae

    ngl, this isn't "trusting the process" because the locs that he just instantly locked were going to lock up eventually. He just manipulates his hair too much for it to make progress

  • @kyaromidnight

    @kyaromidnight

    @@tbbjae this is the biggest facts ive ever heard, i wish i was told this when i was starting mine. the frail dread that he crochet hooked would have eventually locked and naturally fell over time if he had did nothing but cleaned and washed his hair for a month or two. his hair overall would be thicker and healthier had he not constantly retwisted it and manipulated it

  • @bitz3225

    @bitz3225

    @@tbbjae granted this video he literally crocheted it. But with the whole manipulation thing, his channel is based literally on teaching people how to get dreads and deal with the issues caused with it. Not everyone faces the same issues but if he wants to cater to everyone he will have to mess about with his hair a bit. This time wasn’t exactly to teach or help anyone, it’s like he said, because the other locs have matured more quickly than the 3 he crocheted. Because he has sectioned it already, it would be very difficult to leave them 3 to lock up because of their tendency to join and form thicker locs as well as them losing the tighter natural curl pattern he had. I’m not justifying as such using the crotchet hook but I’m saying in essence he gets criticised too much for it. Using a crochet hook is made to be some terrible method but he should feel free to do what he wants with his hair. All the other locs are shaping up fine as well so I don’t see the problem. He has trusted the process imo.

  • @Moromilkyway

    @Moromilkyway

    3 жыл бұрын

    No hay producto como tal que ayude a que no se deshagan, todo depende el mantenimiento que le des a tus locs como tal y como lo hagas Por ejemplo si llevas una semana con los locs es recomendable que no te laves el cabello por lo menos en tres semanas a un mes para que así puedan madurar los más que puedan después de ahí te puedes lavar el cabello una vez cada dos semanas, y cada tres meses te puedes hacer un retwist que viene siendo darle la vuelta a la raíz del cabello nuevo que sale 🤷🏽‍♂️ al final todo se trata del mantenimiento que le des. Pero si quieres buenos productos te recomiendo el: Dr. Brooner peppermint shampoo para el lavado y el aceite tropic isle living Jamaican black castor OJO!! Solo usa un poco por que este aceite es muy denso

    I am a bit surprised how you make this crochet something special, after all it is generally available and easy to buy in smaller sizes that make it easier to make and maintenance dreadlocks. In my opinion, you should not dread your hair when there is a buildup / dry 'locking gel' on it because this ford will stay in the middle and will make you have white hard points on the dreadlocks. Intertwining a dread through its own root just to keep it lying is also not good for the hair. Dreads = PATIENCE. Remember that after all, Bro. Good luck!
