HOW TO START MEDITATING… 🧘‍♂️
Meditation has a lot of benefits, such as reducing stress and anxiety, and so much more!…
Many people say they can’t meditate because when they tried, they couldn’t switch their thoughts off, but that’s not what’s it’s about!
Meditation is more about focusing on something - for example your breath, a mantra, or a guided meditation, whilst being aware of thoughts when they arise, and then letting them go.
Every time you notice that you got lost in a thought about the past, or the future, you come back to your focus in the present moment, without judgment or frustration.
This is like doing reps in a workout - over time and with practice, you’ll get better at the exercise.
Also, you don’t have to be a super perfect yogi.
You just need to have a comfortable body so you can relax and take an inward journey.
