@@cxlmobileheadlightrestorat7906to be pain free for knees, you need to have balance in your legs. When you walk and run you put 3x your bodyweight into your legs. Your tibialis absorbs the force but when your tibialis is weak, the force goes up from your ankles to your knees, causing pain in the knees. So yes there are some ankle exercises here but you need these exercises to maintain harmony and protect your knees.

I am a Jiu jitsu athlete myself. Been training for many many years. I tore my left meniscus over 3 years ago (it makes a little pop going DOWN stairs but not up.) but I have no pain or discomfort from it really. I also have dislocated this knee cap training back in 2008. And about 8 days ago I took a hell of a pop to my opposite knee now - it’s swollen and I think I tore some of my right meniscus now. I’m super depressed because I’m thinking I can never train anymore or I should just quit the sport I love. Did this help you?!! Any comment will help man thank you

I started on Monday walking backward for 10 minutes. After 2 days, my low back felt "worked," so I didn't want to push it. While putting on my pants this morning, I was able to put them on without leaning on something for support because of pain and weakness in my hip and low back. Amazing! Tonight, I felt stronger, so I went on my backward walk again. Seeing results so quickly is exciting. I am almost 71 years young.

Becoming interested, she asked questions. He was stoked about what he had learned from a guy named Ben Patrick. From bad knees and two surgeries he had become a beast by doing Patrick's exercises. He was thrilled with life again. I'm getting pumped and following these videos. Apparently, Ben is still pumped himself. Great story about Bryce Harper. I’m barely walking and it’s effected my livelihood as a carpet and floor guy, it’s all I know. A lot of despair and no hope for awhile that I may no longer be able to support my family. Yesterday, I found this video after watching him on Dr. Berg. I’ve been doing the exercises, and feeling more confident and that I’m on the right path. I have hope and most of all hunger to improve. I went into surgery with no internet and really no understanding of what is going on and what to expect. I would follow ATG closely if I were you. I can tell you that if you don’t rehab your knee properly down the road it will affect your entire body. Shortened leg and arm on the surgery side, misaligned pelvis and your neck can become infused to your shoulder. This you’ll feel and see 30 years after surgery of course. Thanks for everything you do Ben. There are many people with great information who want to help others but the info is lost if they don't reach the people who need it. Your attitude, transparency, and genuine enthusiasm for the impact you are having on others - while recognizing those who had an impact on you - is what draws people to you and your mission. You sir are changing lives (and knees) and you can count mine among them. Thank you. Truly.

Hey Ben--I just wanted to say thank you. Last year I was complaining of knee pain, and an inability to win a singles tennis match at my level (USTA 4.0). Well, thanks to a lot of hard work I am mostly pain free and as I approach my 54th winter I was able to win a singles match against a friend of mine in his 20s this past Friday. Backwards walking, tib raises, working on range of motion and strength throughout the range (my specific case requires a lot of work just to fully extend my right leg). I am grateful I found you. Please keep inspiring the world!

YES! I used to have that as well. The heel elevated step up + the couch stretch actually do the most for that. Check this out: look at the back leg, that's basically the reverse step up position! But the heel elevated really "turns it on" for tougher cases. Then add extra length with gradual dedication to the couch stretch. Keep me posted!

@@Joshua-uq9zw look into Ben's pages or his workout package online. For me what helped was calf and hamstring stretches to start. Once I build some strength back up integrating Ben's atg split squat, the hamstring curls, tibialis strength building, and (I forget what it's called) but when you go on your knees and lean back and lean back forward. Just start by going back a little and work your way back as you build the knee strength.

In today's society people want to be right so much that anyone who thinks different is wrong. It's ok for everyone to be different in what works for them. This is something I tell people and try to get my kids to understand. Thank you for your work with atg and beyond.

Tore my meniscus in August. Your exercises have been pivotal on the road to recovery and now beyond. I feel way more stable. Question: do your ATG programmes help with mobility? I used to be able to put my hands on the floor, but after years of doing nothing in an office I can barely extend past the middle of my shins.

Hey Jack! Programs build strength through length! So strength and mobility are addressed simultaneously! We even have a flexibility protocol available on the ATG app! -ATG Coach Connor

Thank you sincerely for sending me this link. I'd been a sole caregiver for an elderly parent with dementia who died recently and delayed a rotator surgery. A few days ago I had the surgery I'd delayed but I'm determined to follow the advice you have posted in this video. Again a million thanks.

Ben, you have it all. Fun, with cutting edge content. Giving credit to everyone who deserves it. I have been a PTA for 22 years. I have bone on bone bilateral knee arthritis and have had 50% improvement in TWO WEEKS doing your program. I haven't had that much quick success with my patients. Your program is physics perfect and ROCK SOLID! Thanks for your generous sharing of your expertise to the world. I will be joining your program!

I’m so glad you mentioned the business side of things, nothing bothers me more than the phrase “it’s just business”. Nothing is just business, there are people attached always. Generally that phrase is what people say to excuse away ripping someone else off even friends or family, steals an idea, over charging, or whatever other unethical business practices they are committing . I’m so glad to see people like yourself giving credit where it’s due. It goes to show you can be successful, ethical, give credit, help others be successful, AND be successful in business yourself. You are a great example of this and I’m proud to say in my neck of the world I am doing the same in my business dealings always…I sleep very well at night. Imagine what a capitalistic society would function like if ethical business practices were the norm. It would truly be a different world. Thank you for including this part of your journey it’s as important as the ground breaking joint work you have been doing. ✌️

Wow, my PT recommended your channel, so I knew your content would be good, but I found so much more than I was expecting. You had me at "Integrity matters," and all you so eloquently expressed thereafter. So grateful to find a "my kind of human" to help me on the journey towards healing my knees 🙂
