Very helpful, and thanks for taking your time to do this and to share it with the world, free of charge. I have to say, I love the fact that the first topic you guys covered is about safe arm wrestling. One of my oldest and best friends wanted to begin training for arm wrestling about 3-4 years ago (it was during lockdowns when he began taking an interest to if). He broke his arm within the first 2 months. He said he was having a “friendly match” with a guy at his gym, and out of nowhere during the first pull… “POP!!” He claims it was just a freak thing… but I had seen him pull a few times and I don’t think he had any idea how to be safe as a new puller. He has since healed and has become much more conscious of his technique, but he has to learn the hard way, I suppose. Stay strong, and love arm wrestling!

You are a chill guy, i can understand all your talking (im spanish) because you pronounce so well and the most important thing is that you actually are not cocky but full of knowledge. Ill start eating all your videos because there is gold. Huge thank you because lot of people learn and improve because of you. Also i would like to suggest a video where you explain what are the most important pulley accesories and how to build it without money (i mean cheap DIY) for the beginners. Love and keep going i hope one day we will meet and arm wrestle 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Great video. I think you put Janis' cut talking about training for armwrestling in the video twice.

Hi. I have these two questions. When you want to increase your strength, how heavy would you lift. In other words, how many reps would you do? Also, would you have long breaks between series to recover more in order to lift heavier in the next series, or would you keep the breaks short?

Jujimufu has some good content about that where he has Devon Larratt showing him great armwrestling workouts...and doing regular gym exercises will do nothing for your arm wrestling game or strength!!

Love this video! I've been in this sport now for 2 yrs in April. One of the things I've struggled with the most is workouts in every motion of the sport that I can do at home with just resistance bands a couple dumbbells and a loading pin. I currently attach my bands to my doors and do my best to hit the muscle groups I need to work on most. I started out as a top roller then recently discovered a strong point in a hook by setting in deep inside at the start but cant seem to get any forward momentum from there. Do u or anyone else have any suggestions on things I can work on with what I'm limited to at home for workouts or muscle groups that need to be hit for both top roll and hook forward progression? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

11:20 shows different things you can try from your strong hook. i don't know much but if you were a top roller then you could try doing the rotational example shown here & driving through your thumb to open his hand up

Greetings! I'm a huge fan of your KZread videos. If it's not a problem, could you crack a myth for me? A friend of mine, said that he has improved his wrist strength ever since he stopped doing exercises such as push ups, handstands, etc. Do those exercises, really have a negative effect in armwrestling, or it's up to the person? Those exercises really do put a strain on the wrist, so it's sounds logical for me. Still, I'm new to the sport, so I thought it would be nice to ask a professional about this.

If you train 3 times per week. Are you training all 4 aspects ( hand, back, side, pronate) in each session, or splitting them up. Could you draft up a weekly schedule? Thank you. Stacy
