I watch your videos for hours. My dad was a great painter like you. I was his prepper. And just as he was going to have me start painting he passed away. I watch your videos for the advice and tips. I prep 400 hr pay periods by myself. And now he's gone I don't wanna prep for no other painter. I wanna paint. He left me his tekna pro lite and his iwata supernova. Thank you for you great videos.

This is my opinion in relation to the time on your videos. When you show a full job it eliminates the assumption of the time it takes and the work process. So its great to get the reality of the job itself so that amateurs such as myself don't get frustrated thinking why is it so hard and long to complete a task that came off so easy after watching very short edited videos. I like to see when you correct mistakes because its impossible not to get any, and knowing the technique, when to use it, and what not to worry about is what determines real skill. So occasionally a long video on a specific topics is great so no stress. I have a friend that introduced me to your videos and he messes up to much because he doesn't fully understand the process and now he gave up. I am far better now so I can easily follow your work but before it was above my level since some approaches for beginners aren't included. thanks alot

Thanks for your video! I have done some paintjobs on my old beetle for several years. I stepped up a bit and now also did a fender, door, door paintjob on my black magic metallic Golf. I went well. I get several hints from your videos. That helped me a for do a descent job.

I can't thank you enough for this video. I recently got into a fender bender and had to reshape and repaint my rear bumper, including bumper end caps, and your clear coat video enabled me to get my clear coat looking like glass for the first time in my life. Every other time it always had orange peel and this time it's nearly flawless, and I even did it in my garage with the door open! I followed your 1/3 hardener, 10% acetone formula @ 2bar and it sprayed on perfectly with 2 coats, 4 minutes in between coats. Thank you thank you! Only issue now is my bumper looks better than the rest of my truck!

Actually, he's spraying very slowly but that's the HVLP gun that restricts how much you can put on. In the old days, they used a suction feed gun and you would spray three times as fast...you had to because you were pounding on the paint and if you slowed up ,you would get runs.

Well done, your a credit to us Painters, you made a nice job of that car. One of my last jobs before I left the trade was to repaint a brand new Astin Martin, which when It was in the showroom looked like the colour was uneven, Massive job but rewarding to know you can be trusted with a 100K super car. In the UK almost every body shop now uses water based paints, I see you used solvent base in this video, I prefer this too. I left the motor trade soon after I was only given 6 1/2 hrs on an insurance job to repaint two bumper bars a new wing and two door skins and repair the rear 1/4 panel. how could they expect you to earn you wages doing something like that.... Keep the video's coming they are very good

Don't wanna be a jerk and I do car paint jobs sometimes but trust me - if you wanna paint car good you can't go cheap. Good job is never cheap and cheap job is never good. Painting car DIY style you saving on labor only. You need good compressor at least 30 Gal (100-120 L) and good gun. Everything else you can go cheap. Painting is 10% of work. 90% is preparation a surface.
