I’m 63 & have had a cough for almost a year. I cough every day, & the cough gets so bad that I sometimes gag. I am going to see an allergy specialist because my doctor wants to rule out allergies first. I live in Central California & allergies are very common here so I’m hoping that’s all this is.

I have a 8mm ground glass lung nodule. I had a PET scan within 5 days. It didn’t show up as cancer. I have a follow up scan in six months( any time now) I have a constant cough and shortness of breath. Plus pain in between my left shoulder blade. I’ve never smoked.

Is very mild peribronchial thickening with 1.1cm nodule right lower lobe consistant with cancer. I went in for heart calcium score and they found a solitary nodule lower right lung. Now im up follow up ct so they can see what it does.

Hi, great video. Very informative. I have thyroid cancer with lymph node involvement. I currently have searing pain in my mid back going through to my chest but no cough whatsoever. Just burning pain and shortness of breath but could just be that I pulled a muscle in my back. Can't bare my doctor so avoiding going!! I know what you'll advise but just wanted to reach out and see what you think. Thanks

I had no symptoms at all also. I learned about the simple 5-minute long scams and had to beg my doctor for 4 years before they set me up for yearly lung scan because I'm a 30 plus years smoker and I've been around secondhand smoke for 30 plus years. My first lung scans for a few years ago and everything was fine the second lung scan showed a spot. They told me to come back in a month and they redid the scan and it grew one millimeter in size so I was referred to a thoracic surgeon who told me the lung scan saved my life. A week later they removed the spot and tested it while I was still under anesthesia, it turned out to be non-small cell cancer so they removed a bunch of lymph nodes and and around the lung and tested those. Those were all negative. No chemo or radiation needed. The lung scan saved my life but again I had no symptoms not even a cough. The problem is they're not giving these lung scans to just anybody at any age you have to be either 40 or 50 years old and a 30 plus year pack a day or around second hand smoke for 30 plus years. Too many people are getting lung cancer in their 30s and the main causes radon in the home. Too many people are getting diagnosed too late and they need to start scanning people starting of the age of 30 whether you smoke or not

Ask for a simple 5-minute lung scan if your insurance won't pay for it just pay cash, it's worth saving your life. I had no symptoms but I did have lung cancer and they removed it before it spread. I'm now spreading the word to anyone who will listen. Doctors are not doing their jobs and too many people are suffering from lung cancer when it's too late.

My lung cancer was detected too late, my doc thought I had acid reflux cough. I'm 60 diagnosed stage 4 with bone mets now. 5months out I'm on palliative therepy

Don’t get diagnosed yet. That will tip the insurance companies off. But get Allstate insurance for cancer. You can get it any time of the year and it’s about $70 bucks a month. If you are diagnosed with cancer they will actually pay you $300 a day because you won’t be able to work during treatment. It will cover you up to maybe $30,000 for the treatment, I forget but go to Allstate. They have emergency insurance for cancer, stroke and heart disease. Also take apricot seeds, soursop and perhaps fenbendazole. Also try a low keto carb diet or a plant based diet with absolutely no added sugar. You have to drop sugar and alcohol.

My mum has some shadow on her chest X-ray and she coughs often, hot, cold or little bit out off breath I’m extremely worried

Hi I have been having chest infections for a good 8 months with a few antibiotics. I have eventually had a ct scan after two xrays showed nothing. Had the cat scan Wednesday and it is six days later and had a call from the hospital saying there are two shady areas but it’s definitely not cancer ( phew) I am now going to have another cat scan in 6/8 weeks. I’m really worried.

Sounds like you are being very vigilant. If the spot grows within a month you need to see a thoracic surgeon and have this look into. I had to be a strong advocate for myself after my mother died of lung cancer I begged for the scans and it took my doctor 3 years to send the referral in. Too many people are getting lung cancer who haven't smoked in our only in their thirties. I feel they should give these lung scans to anyone who will pay for them if their insurance won't. It takes 5 minutes and can save your life, it saved mine

@@italiangirl2440 I'm so sorry about your loss . Yes cancer is hitting us from every direction. There's 200 different types of cancer so we are all dodging bullets. My second scan showed the nodules/ shavings have nearly disappeared apparently, so looks as though I have had infection left from previous infections. I do now have to live with a lung condition, but give me that any day over cancer

So my mother 73 yrs old been coughing up blood with pheglem for nearly 2 years with a cough she got an xray an the gp thinks it could be cancer an the earliest appointment to get more tests is 6 weeks , what other tests would she have to go for to say whether its cancer?

Well I’m glad they do CT scans. I had a CT scan after falling on my shoulder and it picked up a mass on my lung, I’m waiting on a lung biopsy, to see if it’s cancer, I have all the symptoms. I’m grateful for that CT scan.

I can never get an appointment with the doctor. Im 36 Iv smoked cannabis since 15 ish Every way possible, bucket, joint, pipe, lung I get constant chest pain that feels like my heart about to stop Lungs daily feel bad Shortness breath I oftern often take deep breaths Self inflicted, yes, but older now it's scary

Someone i know has lung cancer symptoms and doctor gave antibiotics for two weeks and then after the detection process will take place but the condition of him is not getting good so is it ok to wait for two weeks or one should consult at some good hospital ? Is it any process so that it can be detected earlier?

My advice to you is to just lie and say you've been a 30 plus year smoker in order to get your lung scans paid for or pay cash once a year to have this done. Doctors are not being vigilant enough and you have to be your own advocate and fight. I had to fight my doctors for 3 years to start getting these yearly lung scans because I am a 30 plus year smoker. First scans were done in 2021 everything was normal, second scan was in 2022 and they found a spot so they rechecked it in a month and it grew. I'm glad I kept begging for these scams because it turned out to be an 8 mm size nodule that was non-small cell cancer and I save my own life with the help of a thoracic surgeon who removed it. No chemo or radiation needed. Doctors are not recommending these lung scans enough to their patients. You shouldn't have to be a smoker to have yearly lung scans in my opinion.

My friends a smoker. I asked him to quit multiple times. So I looked up this vid to see any signs

I had no symptoms whatsoever for lung cancer but at the age of 55 I was diagnosed with lung cancer and I had to beg my doctors for 3 years to start me up with yearly lung scans. They need to be more proactive and start the scans as early as the as the age of 30. The number one leading cause for lung cancer is radon gas that comes up through the ground and into your home. I hope you can start getting these scams just to be safe

Ask to have a 5-minute CT scan for lung cancer. They need to scan people at the age of 30 +because people are getting lung cancer that are not even smokers. If your insurance will pay for it pay it out of pocket. I think it's only $150. Fight for your Life

I’ve been smoking since 12 I’m now 23…. Smoking cigarettes and weed every day since 15. Smoking an eigth of weed every day without missing a day for the past 5-6 years. I find myself short of breath and some chest pains. But no blood no tiredness. Should be good

Had post nasal drip and cough for a few weeks was given antibiotics for 5 days. Then three to 4 weeks later Was reinfected with more cough and now I'm on different antibiotics. Did a chest x-ray but still waiting for the results. Do you recommend I get seen by a pulmonary specialist regardless of the results? Thanks 👍

Well, yes. Of course. Also, for any mysterious lung infections, you should get you HIV status updated. If it turns out you’re positive they can get you on HAART right away.

Oh you have no idea how third world British Healthcare really is. It would seem in America, if you have a job, you get high quality healthcare. If you aren't a cog in the wheel for any reason good or not...your left to die literally or from being buried in debt. In the UK you can get Healthcare...but its basically worthless. Essentially in the UK have to be very wealthy, then despite paying tonnes in taxes for a worthless healthcare system you can instead go private and get it done way faster. Two-Tier system.

Go to ER, they can't turn you away. Get CT scan with contrast. Ask them for help with getting medical assistance. Good luck.
