How To Split & Merge Patterns In FL Studio (Beginner Tutorial)
Музыка
This FL Studio beginner tutorial will show you how to split and merge patterns in FL Studio, as well as how to use the cut and paste feature to move midi (notes) from one vst to another. Knowing how to do this is essential in order to build your arrangement in the playlist. A lot of beginners tend to put all their notes in the channel rack at once. This is a more linear workflow and allows you to see everything at once, so it might seem natural at first. However, this makes it difficult when you want to structure your song, at which time you want the different patterns to be spread out over time. This feature allows you to easily split all the patterns in the channel rack into individual ones, so that you can easily arrange them in the playlist. The original pattern with everything combined will remain as well. You can also select different patterns in the playlist and then recombine them into one if you wish. In this tutorial I will show you how to combine or merge clips and patterns as well.
Knowing how to use the cut-and-paste feature on the other hand is not essential, but will help speed up your workflow. It's much faster than going into every single piano roll and manually copy and paste.

Hey please do a tutorial on launchpad with FL studio, there aren't much tutorial vids that explains in depth use with FL, other than how to connect and how to do light show, What i mean is if a producer uses it what are the various ways and how to do it in fl. Thanks

Hello, please tell me the following: HOW CAN I BRING BACK THE *PATTERN BLOCKS* ? I cant produce without…:(((
You have no idea how helpful this is for my ADHD ridden ass. Finally I can work as fast as my brain.
Wow these are my favorite tutorials. 2-3 minutes without padding. Such a simple fix too. Before I would manually create a new pattern for each individual track. Which wasn’t bad because it stayed organized but this will be much smoother👍🏽

@@FireWalkMusic You're welcome. Can you please teach us about 808s and how to use it?
on 1:27 Thank you. This is exactly what I wanted to know. I cut the pattern into pieces and arranged them in the order I needed. It was necessary to glue it into a single pattern. The method shown in the video worked.
New producer here says THANK YOU. This has been driving me crazy trying to figure it out myself.
The more I'm learning how to work with shortcuts makes this all so much easier. Great tutorials.
