Make sure if you remove/replace the crank bolt that you time it in its proper key way. Don't remember perfectly, but the crank pully as well. Flip them over and look for the key ways otherwise all that hard work is going to waste with a bit of high rpm on the motor after everything is put together without knowing.

I have a 2009 audi a4 quattro premium b8 engine code CAEB. When I start my car it turns on but then brings to shake not a vibration but a violent shake, but as soon as I'm driving over 10 miles per hour the shake is gone it drives and feels great! But as soon as I come to a light where I have to idle/stop, it begins to shake violently again, sometimes if I let it shake at idle for to long the EPC light comes on and I have to shut the car off. Then I turn it back on and its back at a rough idle but I can just drive more then 10 mph and it's fine again.

Kathleen Velazquez hello there, it’s exactly what was going on with my car, you have at least one lope loose, if you’re lucky , just remove the head cover and see if you can spot the problem. The worst you’ll have to do is remove the cams, fix them as I did and put them back , but a cylinder head removal would be ideal . To see if you can spot the loose spring and ball. Kathleen Velazquez what cylinder has a misfire if you know? Cos that cylinder will tell you what lope is loose .

Your engine rear main seal is broken causing excessive air leak. It will cause the symptoms you have.
