That’s so good you gave it ago! I’m glad that you’re happy with your work 😊
For those who did not understand: Step 1: Draw the dots. Step 2: Draw the sketch. And viola you are a certified artist.

I’m still confused about the dots. I feel like I’ll end up doing it wrong.
I love how causal looking this style is :)
Wow, I can imagine the placement of every limbs and the models' pose just from the dots. Thank you, this so helpful!
I have always had problems with sitting figures. This was a great help.
His voice is so relaxing, ❤
This is a game changer for portfolio builders. Thanks you so much for the demonstration.
This has been GAME CHANGING!! I have always been so intimidated by figure forms and getting the proportions correct. Thank you thank you!!
I really love this kind of sketches, I'm gonna grab a small sketchbook just to fill with this kind of quick drawings! Absolutely amazing, thank you!
Great way to work things out!! Wish I knew this when I was teaching: my students would have loved it!
You made everything looks so easy 😮❤

I will certainly have to try this technique. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you. That was really helpful. Starting to sketch again after years, so needed such tips!
That was really helpful, thank you. One problem I tend to have is that without the security of line such as you display here, it is still difficult to get some satisfying results, especially at such sketch-outlines.
I have learning difficulties and this was very helpful & this also Inspired me to continue pursuing my passion… thank you!! ❤️
What an amazing video. You get straight to the point, show fantastic (and varied) examples, and you make it look so easy. I can't wait to try this later.
Woooooow you are so talented ! The best teacher ! Thank you !!!!❤

thank you so much for these tips, Scottie! I remembered another cool artist I look up to use these tips for his approach to ink sketching and your guide has been a wonderful help to keep in mind! It’s a fun approach that’s also applicable to other subject matters as well, Hope I can improve my ink drawing abilities so I can continue enjoying the process more freely and share my love for drawing with others too!

Thanks! Glad you liked them
Not counting your intro you drew this man within 4 minutes. I am so glad I came across your video. This is the kind of people drawing I'd like to get better at completing. I've been trying to include all the details thinking that would make the figure recognizable, but by watching your video I should include fewer details and stick to a more basic drawing as you show here. You make it look soo easy, and I thank you for sharing. You've given me hope that I can learn your style for my personal use.

That's great to hear! Yes sometimes sketching the bigger shapes first and not getting too stuck in the details is the way to go👍🏼
REALLY helpful. Thanks very much
This is super helpful! Thanks a tonnn
So helpful!
wow, that's actually cool love your sketches, man!! :))
This was brilliant, I'm sketching again after 16 years and to say I'm rusty would be an understatement. Today we were tasked with sketching a live model, and boy was I struggling to figure out how to best capture his proportions. I'll definitely be trying to develop using your technique as it seems it'll be very useful, especially with enough practice.
Thanks, this is very helpful.
Extremely useful...thank you🙏

I do struggle a lot while sketching humans. They always turn out looking very cartoony. Shall definitely practice this method of yours .I am sure it will help me. Thank you for sharing.
Awesome TIPs! THANKS!
super-good technique! thanks!
You’re so amazing 🥹
Thank you!!!
wow, this method is really amazing
Super tutorials. I've been taking a figure drawing class, and was taught the traditional approach of the stick figure and the bone structure. Spending 10 minutes learning your 4 dots is worth 3 months of classes I had. The light color washes at the end are very nice too. FWIW I prefer using a fountain pen to get some variations in the lines instead of using a marker. In any case, I subscribed and have to remember to check your tutorials often. I learn a lot for sure.

That's great to hear this method has helped you! Thanks for watching😊
This is great. I am learning that proportion is so key. It can really free up your creativity in a way. I understand the method for figure standing up. I am struggling a bit with the sitting down. From what I understand it's head to knees, knees to feet that determine spacing? So any angle really from head to knee determines the directionality of the lines. I think I may have just answered my own question 😂
You're awesome!
