How to shear sheep, go pro view
How to shear sheep!!
Using the go pro in this video gives another angle and view of the sheep being shorn. These are good shearing sheep but strong and wild you can’t give them an inch or the sheep will get away.

Never thought I would have said sheep shearing was relaxing but this certainly was!
the best sheep shearer I have ever watched.
Very efficient, no second cuts. Nice blanket. Quick and no stress on the animal. Appreciative
You are the best

Excellent skills here! So glad to see there aren't any nicks or cuts! Well done!
So satisfying and relaxing to watch. He makes it looks so easy, but I know it really is not an easy job - it's back-breaking and you need to have strength, control and confidence. 🥰
So satifying, watching the Sheep being relveaed from under their wool, and so smoothly, no ridges, no nicks, such patience when the sheep start expressing they are displeased and wanna go NOW, lol. Thank you for sharing!
you are the best.
니들 아저씨 덕분에 시원하것다.ㅎ 아저씨 한테 고마워 해라~~~^ 그리고 내가본 양털깍기 하시분 중에서 당신이 최고 인것 같습니다.😉
Oh god that natural luster! And it just slides off like butter from those long blows! Your technique is so fast, efficient, and practiced. Very satisfying.

Ya. And these people take good care of the sheep and it's fleece. Thats why it falls free. Relatively clean and not felted.
Go pro shearing needs to be a common thing, great learning viewpoint

U just know those sheep feel so much better without all that wool hanging on them... GOOD JOB Shepherd boy!
This is a very relaxing video to watch
Great job - and no knicks or cuts on the sheep. Every sheep sheerer we've hired always leaves them a bloddy mess.
Excellent shearer!!
Some are so harsh with their handling, but you seem firm yet gentle. You 're a pleasure to watch, thanks for sharing!

Great video, thank you. I'm learning to shear my own sheep and this view is very helpful!
I have sheared cows which is easy, lot of work sure but this seems hard as hell. I have seen a shearer at work back when I was working on a milking sheep farm as a milker. It's satisfying to watch for sure but nowadays I'm haply to work with cows who are alot easier to deal with tbh and also sheep are so fragile it's so damn easy to accidentally cut their skin because it is so thin. This is excellent work.
thank you for videos. more videos like that long with go pro :)
Nice shearing and fast I ever seen. Excellent works
You are great at this wow!
Очень оперативно и без кровинки Повезло овечкам с таким парикмахером 💐💐💐

Just spent an hour on one sheep and about 30 minutes on a second sheep shearing. Wow you make this look easy. I need to go out with someone who shears to practice cause damn the last few hours wore me and my sheep out. I may not have industrial quality shears, but I'd like to take less than 5 minutes per sheep one day. Thanks for the video

I did the same thing. Watched the videos and thought, gee this looks easy .. famous last words lol. This year I watched a video on how to clean and sharpen the shearers; this helped a lot. Almost got a blanket off my fifth sheep. I'll need to practice a lot more and get a much better quality shearers if I ever hope to sell this wool but I only got the five sheep so we'll see

what brand is your device?
PETA: Sheep are always beaten, kicked and killed for your wool. Reality: Sheep need shearing every now and then. At most, they can be annoyed and a bit stressed during the process but so we do at the beauty salon. It’s question of being careful with them.

Hi yes it seams that way however if you look closely I hold the handpiece very lightly which in return allows my wrist to be loose. The grip is changed ever so slightly with the fingers rather than the hand.

Hi Robbie, what does it mean to be "over your sheep" and "behind your blow"? It's the positioning that I'm finding the hardest when I'm shearing. Thank you!
@shearingschool
3 жыл бұрын
Hi To be over your sheep, if your over your sheep you have leverage against your sheep in some positions. And if your shoulder is behind your blow then you can see the entry point, allowing you to fill and flatten your comb.
