    I had a Scottish Shearer living with me in the early 2000s Andrew we worked in Gore New Zealand together

    Might be a NZ design shearing shed but it's definitely not the same wool handler's labour input !!!

    ahh helped my dad build his woolshed on highway 50 .- new zealand .- unfortually a gang robbed all his tools. - He built his woolshed with zero plans.- just did it out off his head... - ''Too this day ahh not sure how he had the grey- matter too do it as he had a w.w.2. head conncussion trauma.- from italy 43-45

    Hi this video was taken last June. Don't often get winter shearing so don't use cover combs often.

    Yes we use cover combs here in N.Z winter time ..depends on the farmer ..Every famers diffrent .

    The board is about the only thing NZ about that shed. Looks totally unusable with nowhere for the fleece to be handled after removal!!

    Slated floor in catching pen, pens for catching sheep lift up and around gates, porthole, large use of a broom. In fact the only thing that's missing is the table for the fleece. That been said normally they just have second shear so no real need for one, thanks
