Hi, go back to your Sd card, tap eject SD card to remove it and follow the steps to set it up again. If you set up your sd card as internal storage, you can't remove it in order to use with another device because this cancels the sd card setup. You can only remove an sd card if you set it up as a removable storage which is a different procedure: kzread.info/dash/bejne/m5ppm65-m7ixZ84.html:

My Samsun A32 only has the Unmount and Format options from the SD card's 3-dot menu. I already formatted it on my computer and on the phone. Do things automatically store on the card when the internal storage is full?

I have a galaxy a52s and I have the same options, I formater it like three times but nothing really happened. Also I seem to be unable to put the apps' update on the card, which is a bummer because that's what takes most of my storage space.

It's because you have used your card in another device before. You can use a new sd card. If you don't have a new one, you can connect your sd card to a computer, transfer all your files to your computer and then format your sd card to be able to set it up

See its from apps like SPOTIFY PANDORA ETC.... YOU DOWNLOAD MUSIC....THEN store on sd card makes it partially yours forever......THEY ARE AGAINST THIS OPTION FOR THE PUBLIC... ..IT ALL SUCKS...WE BUY IT BUT YHEY CONTROL IT?!

If the card is set properly, you will be able to transfer files . If it doesn't work, eject the card and set it up again.

Hi, it's always better to use a micro sd card for each device, but if you have already used an sd card in one device and you would like to use it in a different device, you will be asked to format it. Some recent Android phones use large built-in storage that's why they don't come with that option, you can use a micro sd card to transfer files from your phone to it but you can't set it as internal storage if it doesn't have the storage option. Realme c55 can use up to 256 GB and 8GB RAM which is very big compared to some other phones

I can only format it, just to clear all the files 😌😌

Hello sir i formatted my sd card as internal storage but now it doesn't show up in my storage settings, could it be because i did move it later? when i go to update something in playstore it says storage full, my storage shows 1.6gb out of 64 but when i click it it just shows 400mb left

Hi, it's because your removed it as you said. Don't remove an SD card if it set as internal storage. If you have only one sd card and want to use same SD card in other devices, you will have to set up your SD card as removable storage first to be able to remove it safely without any issues. To fix the problem, you will have to repeat the whole process, set your sd card as internal storage and then set it as removable storage before you eject it to remove it. INTERNAL VS REMOVABLE

No, your device may not switch automatically, you will get sd card full, you need to get a new sd card or tranfer your files to a drive and format your sd card.

You card must be formatted in order to use it with a new device. It's better to use a new micro sd card. You will lose your games and apps if you format it.

Good question, the default set up you did previously will be cancelled, you just need to set up again you sd card once you insert it again in your device. You files will still be saved in the sd card if you remove it. Before you set up your sd card if you want to use it again, you will have to save previous files saved in your card in a computer or external drive because you will have to format it in order to use it.
