Thanks man. My sister refused to upgrade to a phone with more internal storage and this video was perfect. Nothing else was working and I've never owned a phone with android 10 on it. Maybe if he say thing like this don't work on all android phones that your phone has to have this feature, maybe he have more sups..so people the phone don't have this feature want spend time trying to do it or delete there SD card then find out there phone can't do it .that's like making a video with a Samsung S21 ultra and but in my title ,How to shoot 8k video on Android.naw bro you have to let people no that this doesn't work on all android phones

It Pretty much lets me conserve space. So that my phone can run properly. If there's too much stuff saved to a phones internal memory the phone runs slower and laggy. I've had this problem with different phones over the years.

You should probably go to about phone and enable developer mode that way you can change system function settings then you'll be able to move the rest of the ones that say they can't be moved

Yeah but did you get 2 options as well? Format and format as internal? Cause there is a difference. My galaxy device doesn't have format as internal just format so I'm guessing it doesn't support such thing. But a do have the option to change storage only on 3rd party apps, not the preinstaled ones. Though it moves only the installer and not the data downloaded afterwards which sucks cause the data is like 8gb while the rest is a few hundred mb at most. Also, there is an option to force allow apps on sd cards in developer settings, you should take a look might help

However, a 32GB SD Card is not enough and you want to move all the appdata to a new 64GB，how do you transfer all the files and folders without damaging appdata? if u use ur sd card as an internal storage it requires to format so that u can use the sd card as an internal storage not the portable one.

IT MEANS THE INTERNAL STORAGE is full not the SD........ Delete some stuff or uninstall apps THEN try again MOVING... AND after redownload the apps you deleted and repeat the cycle of moving that app TO SD

At 2:34, your phone shows "Format" and "Format As Internal." My Moto g7 Plus only shows "Format." The 128GB card I used first was setup as internal storage. Must the new 256GB card also be setup as internal storage or is the phone setup to use any new cards that way if older ones were?

I ran out of room on that phone and it became obsolete when LG stopped providing updates. My replacement is a Pixel 6 Pro, which doesn't have a memory card. Oh well, thanks for the info.

You should tell people the lowest Android version for which your instructions will work. At (01:45) you should have explained WHAT people SHOULD have seen if the option to move it to the SD card was available. You're teaching people how to move apps to the SD card and you don't tell them what to look for and cover it by just saying "As you can see we don't got a option....". HOW can we "see" something is missing when we at this point don't even know what to look for? At (02:35) you tell people to "Format as Internal". Two comments: #1 you should WARN people very emphatically that this will delete all data on the SD card and it will NOT be recoverable (1 person below commented they followed your instructions and lost photos, data, etc. Yes...it _should_ be obvious to *most* people that will happen, but not everyone knows it. It's the teacher's responsibility to warn them of such potentially devastating actions and make it absolutely clear what happens...even to the point of being ridiculous about repeating it...even saying the same thing in different ways. Loss of data actions should never be covered in a monotone "business as usual" voice. #2 you should tell people the impact if this "Format as Internal" option doesn't show up. Example: should they quit the video at this time because everything following depends on this and continued watching won't help them...or do you later cover alternative methods and they should keep watching the video.

Sadly i discowverd that samsung and new andriod cancelled this option :/ yesterday i insatlled some apps and they want on the se card without doing anything but ween i triad it again i t didnt work :(
