@EasyTechs On my TCL Tablet there Is no Change button/Option to move any or all apps to sd card. How can I move them?? THANKS

I have a Android 11 GO Tablet. Manufacturer is ZZB ZB10S - YQSavior YQ10S. The move button does not show for any of my apps at all. Even with the developer mode on and the force allow transfer on there is still no option to move. When I use an app from Google play I still can not move the apps as a pop up shows stating that a link for moving the app is missing.

i already do this but i can't see the "change" when i open my app's storage 😔

So you may have the three lined up that's on the right you'll tap that and look for the option move to and then that's where you should see internal space and SD card

This worked for me for a number of apps with minor storage space. Got my app storage down from 6,7 to 6,4 gb. Not much but well worth the effort, thanks!

It worked for a cpl apps, but a bunch of apps just have NOTHING under storage, no choice options at all for storage..not even one of those frustrating unchooseable greyed out boxes. Can anything be done about those? Also,i'd deleted the data on some bloatware apps where the most I could do,even after rooting, was disable, not delete them, to free up some space, but it only works temporarily, in a few hours the data is back. Can anything be done to stop it doing that?

This process didn't work for me on any apps on my phone. However, I thank you for the information. I will keep this in mind for future use.

This didn't work on my Revvl 6 pro android. And none of tge other measures did either. In my app that moves to sd card on my old phone tells me that this revvl pro is a problem google made on it. Google never replied when I sent an email. Do you know how I can get around it to move my game apos to sd card ?

so i've done this and the apps that i do this concluded that it's been moved to the external BUT when i update my game(black desert mobile) i only see increase of my internal card and NOT my external card even though i moved it to external. i have like 500+gb for my external and my internal is nearly full 90/120. ive tried changing it back and from external to internal and i see no difference. any ideas?

As an ex IT Trainer of many years albeit never mobile phones, it makes a nice change on here to find a KZreadr who knows their stuff and explains instructions very well but was hoping that you would show the form, location, folder structure, hidden or not of 'what' is actually being moved and is it totally moved (which I doubt). I will be honest and have in the past done as you instructed but my lack of Android OS can never make head or tail of what I have moved. Is it to do with the make of phone, which I suspect is the case.

The "My Files" app can show you what's on Internal mem vs External.

Thanks for the reply and I have used 'My Files' app and others like it but I have to say,,having had quite a few mobile phones from their early days as well different brands including cheap ones from China I find a lot of variation of the order and shown files and folders. I ahve to be honest that only when I set Develop options so I can connect the mobile to a PC so I can see the file and folder structure can I locate files.@@musicmaestro88

That would mean we would have almost no apps to use because most apps dont allow sd.

I know this is an old comment, lol, but may help someone else.They have one of the easiest tutorials to follow to root your phone, which as the other commenter stated, you have to do 1st to be able to have developer control, to then be able to follow this vid to switch some apps to sd card.

When I try to move any app that is not the default app on my Galaxy Tab A7 Lite it keeps saying not enough storage even though I have enough, I just bought a 128 GB micro SD card yesterday and it says the same with any other SD card
