Really appreciate these stretches, I was diagnosed with JRA at age 11, now 40 and over the past 3 yrs I've broken 9 bones (one being my nose twice, 3 ribs, the rest are knee, lower leg and ankle) and have been in recovery so much that I have definitely lost a lot of flexibility and range of motion in large joints. So I've been doing all of these PT exercises I've been given throughout my life, but am getting super bored. I have subscribed to your channel, and love the shorts, I've pinned them on Pinterest, where I already have a collection of stretch routines for myself. Keep them coming and I'll share them to other platforms too, your videos are straightforward but much more descriptive than I've seen anywhere else. 🦾💪🦵🦿👍 Would this be good for very old and healed labrum tears? I still have pain and very limited range of motion 10 yrs later as it was missed originally when seen for the injury.

As someone with several old hip injuries, this is fantastic. I have used similar stretches on the floor, but never knew how to do this in a seated position. Very helpful. THANK YOU!

@@Squirrel-zq6oeyeah, people need to stop gong to the hospital because they have minor aches and injuries. It ties up the doctors and wastes patients' times. In Canada, the problem got so bad that they simply instituted a false wait time. You're waiting in emerg for over 8 hours if it isn't life-threatening. Even if you're the only one in line. It's horrible, because a broken leg isn't something that should be ignored, but isn't life threatening. So you'll wait 8 hours to be seen just to dissuade you from coming next time. Only go to the hospital if you have a serious illness or injury. If a chiropractor video could change your need for the ER, then you didn't need to be in the hospital at all.

I've been dealing with chronic hip pain since having my son 4 years ago. I've been to the chiropractor countless times. I wish I had found this video sooner. It would have saved me lots of $$. My hip was seriously stuck for the last few days and I tried this. On the 2nd rep of my right hip, got a pop, pop, and then relief. I feel like I'm gonna finally get some sleep tonight. I experienced this fix in an unintended way. My hip had bothered me so much, i was getting an X ray. The tech manipulated my hip in a similar way to get a good image. Bent at the knee, folded over and pressed it down to the table. When i got off the table, cured! Thank you. Wish I’d seen this sooner!
I go to physical therapy twice a week and I receive needling, quality regimen of care, for my hip (had FAI). I’m stuck on vacation this week and this exercise helped me manage my tightness in the hips. Thanks so much!

You have no clue how useful this was! I was having hip pain in my left hip today and this was the perfect video! No pop at first, but when I put my leg down my hip popped and I felt immediate relief!

I was skeptical about trying this initially but tried anyway as i got nothing to lose. I was having pain for couple of weeks and even chiropractor adjustment relief was temporary. Although i did not hear the pop, i did get relief after 3-4 cycles. Now i believe it and recommend as well..🎉🎉
For 8 months I have been feeling a click sound in the upper front side of my right hip joint as walking. By doing this excersise it is gone already. Thanks alot. I feel so good both physically and mentally now.
I have had sciatica issues since i was a pre teen. Im 56 and have been dealt with the pain throughout most of my life. It was diagnosed spinal, so i have had no desire for surgery and have tended to it with chiropractic. It's always been temporary, but since i did a KETO diet, i have no inflammation and ZERO pain. It only flares up when i eat sugar
My hip locked or something and I wasn’t able to turn on that side. It’s been weeks. I finally searched how to pop it. This actually did pop that hip and instant relief. Thank you!

Pain remains but I shall keep working on this.
Woke up in the morning and had a noticable "pop" from one of my hips. Afterwards i noticed a pain that felt like a weakness in one of my hips. It continued all day and i tried self-stretching it out throughout the day to no avail. Just found this video and tried this twice on both sides and then walked around afterward a bit and had a click sound suddenly on the painful hip. The decrease in pain is huge! Gonna try this again tomorrow if i still feel pain then

Thank you doc! In my mid-twenties but sitting did damage to my spine and hip (not to mention being overweight). I got addicted to popping my spine in an unhealthy way where i force it while sitting in a chair. I get releases but knew subconsciously it's unhealthy , your videos encouraging healthy ways to mobilize one's hip and spine help tremendously. It gave me awareness on stretching safely and properly. Important to keep the back straight, y'all! Arching the back doesn't stretch the muscle, it stretches the nerve, that's why it _feels_ like more of a stretch, but you're unwittingly limiting yourself: The less you arch the back, the less you stretch the nerve, the more you stretch the muscle Effectively, straightening the back slacks the nerves, letting you get a better stretch, however far you can or can't stretch. Stay safe

I always have to watch his videos more than once because I usually get distracted by his beauty and just look at his eyes face etc, so in order to hear everything he says through the video takes multiple tries. I really like his advice and will definitely return to his channel whenever I have an aching muscle. My neck/shoulders/hip give me a hard time sometimes.

Thank you. This is the most incredible stretch. I have been getting sciatic pain down my right hip and leg on and off for 20 years from a bulging disc injury in my 20s, and other than a chiropractor, this really helped with relief
