Thumb to the eye elbow to the sky
This method is miraculous. I was in basketball team during HS & slowest among the entire squad of 20, tho i was Starter & position 2-3. My first-step tech & short dash was the fastest but my topspeed was ridiculously slow. One time in a drill, i truly exerted myself to being faster until after that 1 drill run cycle, my quad&glutes instantly couldnt move anymore. I was so ashamed of miself Then just months, was entire HS P.E final tests, including 60-100m dash/sprint. The night before, i watched this man Son Of Wind tech & taught myself by nothing but imitating, shadow traning the whole noon-night Result.... Fastest in whole school by milesssss tho i had to walked myself some meters before finish line just bcs i was afraid of being hated by peers
I was doing that always at school and people always laugh at me , i feel proud now that its an official technique
To get run faster and improve my max speed, should I have more rest days or more training days?

Well, that is a sufficient amount, but as the vid said, you also should do strength and other types of training. Two days or even just one, should always be there for you to rest and recover.
I first met Carl Lewis at the Mt. SAC Invitational in 1982. He uses and teaches the concept that the BACKSWING of the arms is what generates both the knee lift and production of ground forces with each foot strike, when sprinting. That, and STAYING RELAXED were his keys to success in the 1980's and 90's.

being called “Son of the Wind” is an honour
The IDEA is to keep control of pace/rhythm. Considering the arms and legs are in sync and the arms can move faster, you use the arms to increase the pace/rhythm. Thus you run faster....
Just did these and I'm already faster than I was 5 minutes ago
We called it “cheek to cheek” when I was in high school
He definitely has the best running form out of all runners. Miss his battles with Ben Johnson in the 80s.

Good tips 👍
Other tip is to only touch the ground when your hip is above your leg.
I'm gonna try it!! 😄. Watch out Carl Lewis! 😂
We call that cheek to cheek
Thank you so much
This works btw. Almost like your knees follow your tones during squats
Carl was an amazingly clutch athlete. A little aloof, but he competed with class. He was awesome. 👍

Okay ✅ I have better understanding now
When i ran track coaches called it “hip to cheek, hip to cheek” & made us practice in the mirror at home, definitely great technique
I'll try this
“Son of a - “ “wind “ 😮💨😬💀
Puhiri :and i took the personally
You got to have a good body coordination between your stride, doing it doesn't magically increase your speed.
Bruh 😫 I remember a dude in grade school named Peewee, he beat errbody running on the field using this technique and jump hop running.
Ima use this technique when I’m running away from the demons after turning off the light😂
This is better be not cap!!!!
" you did it you son of the wind"
ILL TRY IT
YES, no more sprinting, just swinging my arms.
So right from Jamaica
The dudes who worked on the animatrix talked about focusing on the runners hands to help sell the running speed. Kinda cool to see a real world similarity.
I need this cause I want to run fast just like foxy from five nights at freddy's 😂❤
Nice video bro
I do this but i didn't know what we called it. Thankyou ❤

And my gf screams in bed, I call her "Daughter of the Thunder"
Also liked chemistry.
simple sprint mechanic
If He is the Son of the Wind, Ben Johnson is the Wind...
Speeeeeed!$
I saw him run in person in the L.A. Olympics
No cap, my coach gave me the same nickname in basketball...
9 time drug induce champion
flo jo ran with more horizontal reaching for longer stride lengths. So everybody has their style. experiment with it. but indeed arms lead the legs.
I've done track and field for 3 years and we do drills while my coaches say word for word "hand to the eye, elbow to the sky"
I actually tried this method a while back and i noticed that it didn’t make me faster than anyone else, but at least i got faster than how i was before.
This guy's nickname got jinbe first son of the sea levels of swag
Anyone who has sprinted knows the ole "eyesocket to back pocket". Don't forget that "fat don't fly".
Nice 1 brother
"FLINT LOCKWOOD!"

"there is no trick for success.. just work hard and one day this same channel will make a video on your technique"
Imagine the guy in your heat is announced as “SON OF THE WIND” bru you just accept defeat then and there 💀
