That was quick. Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) is another organic way to kill bag worms, tomato horned worms, army worms, etc.
Those things come out every single year n i always freak out cz theyll b on every tree in no time and will fall on u randomly. I run around just the way he did at the end there😅 Theyll end up on other plants n completely eat them up I hate it Its a never ending fight idk how to keep them from coming back😓
I know that “chemicals” can get a bad rap but, if your mast trees are an hour away, snd visited every other week you can come back to sticks masquerading as trees. I’ve resorted to a systemic insecticide, one containing containing imadacloprid, and a little Dawn. My smaller trees get sprayed once per year, with me on a 6 foot ladder. Our tent and gypsy moth caterpillar issues are no more. I’m told that larger trees can get a gallon of dilution polluted around the drip line.

Polluted was a mistype. Not Freudian. Pouring was the hoped-for word. Either sprayed or poured the stuff is taken up into the leaves. Hi-Gain or Monterey are the products I’ve used.

Not eco-safe, but engine starter fluid spray (ether spray) and a match makes for spectacular removal. Oh, the crazy things we did in our youth before we knew anything about eco-friendly....

Can you kill the webworms with just spraying dawn soap in water?
Wow that's a quick kill. Do you have problems with other pests such as aphids, spider mites, leaf miners...?

I have never seen this in our fruit trees before except in the Pecan trees
Can I spray it on the whole tree..? I didn't catch the nest so they are all over my tree. It has fruit on it already and they are having feasts

Neem oil and dish soap spay works best when you spray the bugs or worms directly. Spraying the whole tree won't do too much.
