Do you have any tips on cleaning and sanitising the link bracelet? I think I read somewhere that Apple mentions that it's not water resistant.

I’ve but mine in water before. I have an ultrasonic cleaner that I use mine on. So far so good. I don’t do it often and it’s out in 5 mins. Probably wouldn’t leave it in more than that.

Would you recommend this method on the space grey stainless steel apple band?

  • @TheAppleBias

No this is only for the stainless. You can do anything with the space black one. It has a protective coating on it. And trying this would cause damage.

Sadly I don’t. Sorry. Mainly probably just wipe it down with a damp cloth.

Does it work for the watch itself? The silver stainless steel one

This is the first video I made I think I covered the watch more in this one. You don’t want to brush the watch. And this only works for the stainless. Not the graphite, space black or gold. kzread.info/dash/bejne/g6x42ZSqg6rUppc.html

Great vid. However I’m yet to find a used official link bracelet specially in space black for 50$ everyone is asking 100$ at the very least for one on eBay used or not.

  • @TheAppleBias

Oh yeah space black has a special coating and usually hold up and keeps its value a little better. Also you wouldn’t want to use this technique on a space black it would ruin it. Keep in mine I believe the space black is $100 more than the stainless as well for $100 for a space black model is pretty good.

@@alexh2665 yeah on the space black you’ll want to look at the edges. That usually where people bang them on things and where silver can start showing thru. Once that happens there really isn’t much you can do. But it’s was more durable than the stainless, this thing can scratch if you look at it wrong. 😂

I highly doubt Apple would stop making Stainless Steel Watches. Definitely worth getting one, you’ll be a believer the first time you put it on.

That’s be insane for they to stop making stainless steel. It’s the most versatile watch goes with all the bands.

It’s not something you should do often but should be fine to do once maybe twice a year.
