I've had the silver link bracelet for about 5 years now. It's held up very well. Yeah, probably a little ridiculously expensive for a middle income guy like me but if standing out a little and not looking like every other person wearing an Apple Watch, it's worth it. I was recently at Walgreens recently and the cashier, who was also wearing an Apple Watch, took notice and said "I didn't even know that was an Apple Watch at first."

I paid 7k for a Rolex 10years ago and still have it , it has the same SS material as this band I’m sure the band alone on the Rolex is over 1k so this is bargain kinda , any real good quality bracelet will be expensive and Apple does make quality

The difference is the Rolex will last for years whereas the Apple Watch has a lifespan of around 5 years

@@BobaT__ I mean if Apple doesn`t change the connectors, this band will be usable with future Apple Watches! But if they do intend to change the connectors in the future, than it isnt worth it!

@@BobaT__ IFIXIT battery replacement is easy. And screen too if you know where to get it. But You can buy 1 apple watch every 5 years for 10 years at same price as 1 rolex. But the functionality is great

It works almost always in series 6 even in noisy environment compared to 70% or less in series 5 and 4. Best to speak near mouth after 1 second after display turns on or 1 sec after once raised near mouth. Also most don't use send as audio or send as text....also use raise to speak to activate siri without saying hey siri. Plus all other functions using raise to speak like playing music, timer like when cooking, setting reminders immediately, making note or list or any idea in your mind to take note of or tru voice memos, artists can easily record any sound idea they have at any moment tru voice recording, asking for translation like when travelling in other countries and it will say it in their language, and all the meanings in dictionary, also any question you have tru internet at any moment even if you're in bed with eyes close or children with questions, also ''call my wife'' like kzread.info/dash/bejne/rKqMmtKRc73OqKw.html or ''message Eduard'', even voice message tru send as audio by settings in iPhone for apple watch, ask to calculate something, and ping my iPhone...whatever you want even turning on smart appliances or lights or other appliances connected to smart outlets like say ''turn on tv'' without saing hey siri or hey bla bla bla, ''find my remote'' if it has airtag, ''open the garage'', ''turn on the fan'', you can even set cameras at gate and doors and see tru your watch, ...or ping your cat using Tile or find my cat etc when airtags is released or missing child or finding people when in open areas like malls and parks. I ordered a silver one, problem with this one, lock automatically open while riding a cycle, is this happen to you also? I don’t understand if it’s lock how it’s unlocked, even if you move hands so fast it’s also open.

I finally bit the bullet and ordered it in the silver stainless steel finish. I can’t wait to get it. I’ve been wanting this band since the very first generation Apple Watch. I’ll bite the bullet again and get the black finish someday.

I think it's safe to say that you like them.

I have had an aluminium series 4 with a genuine steel black apple bracelet and I have to say the bracelet has held up amazing, no scratches at all. I think its the DLC coating. I've since upgraded to an aluminium series 8 and the strap has just been changed over. If the stainless black watch would of had the DLC I would of definitely gone full steel. Hope apple change that in future iterations.

I hope they don’t drop the price so I can continue stuntin with little to no competition 😈.

Does black scratch less than silver?

This has to be the best Apple product review ever made. Funny, straight to the point, very accurate and fair. I laughed hard at "overly priced band" line. Yes, the price for this band is insane, but the quality is also insane, for anybody who know watch bands and tolerances required to make it as perfect as Apple makes it will think the price is even too small. Anyway, thank you for such a great review of a great product!

Ahmed Belal Silver was $350 and Black was $450. Even I can admit they are overpriced, but compared to my buddies $20 link bracelets, you can definitely feel the difference in weight and quality. Apple ones feel like they will last a lifetime, and include manufacturer warranty. Unlike cheaper ones found on eBay or Amazon

I bought the black Nomad branded one, it’s nice but that black scratched off to reveal the stainless underneath on the bottom of my wrist and it looks like garbage now. 1 year later.

Depends on the knockoff. My partner has the official one and I just bought a knockoff from an unpronounceable Chinese company on ebay. I must've hit tge jackpot because mine is only marginally worse, honestly.

I had the knock off version of the stainless steel a few years back. It looks just like the apple version however the quality of the build was not great. There where times I would be walking and the links (quick link system) would just fall apart. I am definitely a quality over quantity person so I think the apple version is a little pricey, but the quality is definitely above all, so if you don’t mind your watch falling off your wrist randomly go with the knock off!
