He is an Luthier, love the flamencoguitar music. Beautiful moment of seeing. Sincerely, Lucas
So beautiful!
Bravo, outstanding work. Two thumbs up ☝ ☝
Well done, my man!
Just WOW! Such care and attention to detail. Beautiful work, and such an unusual guitar. Now that I know how they were tuned, I have to try to think of the music theory used to compose and play melodies on such an instrument.
Perfect job
仕上がりが綺麗ですね‼️ 楽しみに待ってました。 お疲れ様でした。
I love to watch a Master at work. These guitars are relics of a time gone by, not a mere instrument. What a grand old Lady. Oh, the stories she could tell... ❤

true words, but honestly putting steel strings on such a guitar is notwhat a master would do... ;) that poor ladder braced guitar was not build for that kind of tension.

@@KekmanForTheRestOfTheWorld These are very thin strings in a fairly low tuning so that nothing will happen to the neck.

@@mr.k1t might be but even 9-38 6 string sets for electric guitar have 85-90 lbs of tension. thin acoustic strings have more tension than electric strings... modern nylons are usually build for around 60lbs and the old gut string guitars like in the video were build with about 30lbs in mind. you will not find any steel strings that dont break that guitar. might be fine for now (i doubt it), but this guitar is certainly not going to survive another 100 years with steel strings. probably not even 10 years. you should have pointed that out to the customer. they might see that guitar break because of the tension and accuse you for recommending steel strings.

Yes I thought the same. It's a shame to swap the flat classical style fretboard for a modern radiused steel string fretboard. Obviously that's just my opinion but It's not really a restoration. I'd call it more of a transformation/modernisation. OK if you like that sort of thing.
You're a true master! I really liked the backing music as well

Woow! What a lovely guitar, thank you! Very lovin' the parlor-size guitars, especially pure vintage stuff) But unfortunately I have really bad experience with this type of "floating neck" mount(screw-through)😂 Unfortunately, you can't completely seal the hole in the neck heel, sand it and glue the neck completely to the body - not on canon :(

I would have put classical strings on that. Very interesting seven string guitar. Almost like a baritone.
MRKT This one happens to be a 7 String Acoustic Parlor Guitar.
Hey there! I hope you're doing well. I have to share something really interesting with you. You won't believe it! So, I recently got my hands on this stunning guitar that looks like it's worth a million dollars. The craftsmanship is impeccable, and the intricate details are absolutely mesmerizing. It's the epitome of elegance and sophistication. But here's the twist - the sound it produces is nowhere near what you'd expect from such a prestigious-looking instrument. In fact, it's more like a $30 guitar that you'd find at a flea market. Surprising, right? When I first strummed the strings, I was expecting a rich and melodic sound that would transport me to musical bliss. Instead, I was greeted with a thin and twangy tone that was far from satisfying. It was quite disappointing, to say the least. But you know what? Despite the unexpected sound, I couldn't help but be intrigued by this guitar. It made me realize that sometimes appearances can be deceiving. It taught me that true value lies in more than just the outer facade. This experience reminded me of the importance of not judging a book by its cover. Just like this guitar, people may not always appear to be what they seem at first glance. It's a valuable lesson, as it teaches us to look beyond outward appearances and focus on what really matters - the true essence and substance. So, my friend, let this serve as a reminder to always delve deeper and explore beyond the surface. You never know what hidden gems you might uncover. Wishing you a day filled with beautiful surprises and meaningful connections. Take care!

@@mr.k1t Regarding the comment that stated the tone was horrible. I would agree that something, was , off. But to dismiss it's potential prematurely is unwise. I would appreciate it if you would do a followup video, trying out your Nylon String idea. Seems pretty obvious they would be the appropriate strings for a guitar of that vintage. That alone could make all the difference in the world. I would bet any Steel Strings would cause too much tension on the Soundboard, affecting the instrument's resonance. Seriously, I personally would love to see the results of that experiment. Also, are you confident the intonation is dead on? If so I would also be wondering if the Steel String tension might have created an unavoidable high action that would be impossible to make sound good because of intonation issues caused by how much a string has to stretch to contact the Fret. That guitar is gorgeous.

It’s out of tune when strumming the guitar and the tension is rather loose. If you tighten it more maybe the real tone will come out

Семиструнная гитара имеет строй на тон выше: по звукам Соль-мажорного квартсекстаккорда (не Фа-мажорного). Оттого звучание непривычное.

Pity about the shity bar chords played at the end haha. after that epic soundtrack complete with the skilled operation to restore. steel strings????? everything was going ok up til then.
Only in tune for first 5 frets, (that's how it was designed to be played.) Wrong strings, you need 'silk and steel' better still cat gut (made in USA). These old guitars cannot take the strain of modern strings.
why did you put steel strings?!?! 🤦🏻♂😂
Hello. But I expected a great sound but not. I got as a bargain a luthier guitar more less 80 years old it doesn't look well a lot of spots, but it has an incredible resonance sound great. I first thought painting myself but i am afraid to do something wrong so I would let it as it is. Ugly but incredible and cheap
not really shure what i think about that sound.. honestly it sounds a little odd
Suono osceno e neanche intonata .. tempo sprecato
you couldn't even tune your guitar
Stone Temple Pilots?
Not much of a how to. What did you use to clean/finish the body of the guitar?
Oh no not another one of these hack jobs
Painful to watch. So many bad choices here. Leave these beauties alone please. 😢
Please, don't play a sound that did not exist 100 years ago, on a 100 years old guitar. It has to be awful.. Try to play asturias suite espanola op. 47 instead ;-)
This guy knows the mechanics but lacks the fine touch required to work on any guitar, let alone one that's very old. Yet......he's making money because we all watched. Should have read the comments first.
