    I know some of the video was somewhat oversimplified, however..this to me is the best one I've seen so far thank you I wonder if heat or gentle persuasion with a hammer is okay to use on the arm?

    Glad it was helpful! I would definitely use the puller to get even force. Heat or hammer to jar things loose. Mine did not come off easy. It took a lot of force to break it loose.

    One more question, spring side of seal facing up or towards the arm? Again thanks for the well done video

    @HowtoandReviewsOfficial

    No problem. Spring side facing up into the pump. Flat plastic face side down toward the pitman arm.

    You will eventually get it. There’s a bearing behind that last seal. Make sure you don’t go too far, or you might be running the screw into the bearing, and you definitely won’t be able to pull it out.

    My first thought is one hour if things go smooth. I would plan on one or two hours. Because things always seem to take longer than they should.

    That is the way of working on vehicles. There usually something… Mine didn’t come off easy. It took some effort.
