I like how you edited lower volume on the impact gun, nothing worse than having to adjust volume while watching. Nice extra touch.

@Andrew Brickhill If you have headphones on it can hurt your ears. If other people are around and you don't want to disturb them, the lower sound helps, not everyone is into what you are into.
Wow. I work on nothing but Honda’s and Acura’s and other Asian imports only and haven’t seen this tool yet or had any tool rep even mention it. This is a life saver on wasting time going to press to press them out and back in! Ordering me one NOW
This is awesome. Most videos just show how to replace this bushing by removing the entire control arm. This is way easier!
Shows you actually use the tools you review instead of some you tubers just buying fancy tools and never using them. Nice work!

The first Eric video I ever watched was him vs. oddy door slider wheels ever since then I only trust Eric's videos such perfect attention to detail and camera placement all by himself bravo Eric bravo
Wow. That's a nice work. With out taking whole lower arm out u change the bushing. Bravo
Excellent tutorial, Joel!
Nice. Good to see the BP version in action. In an inverse of your exp, I’ve had to toss perfectly good poly bushings & use inferior ones that came with repl parts / kits b/c I didn’t have the right tool.
As always awesome video bro, I have personally learned quite a bit from you!! Thank you for turning me into a snapon fan!!!! I also want to thank you for giving me plenty of stuff to watch while the wife is on Pinterest 😂😂🤘🤘🤘
Good to see a how to video..keep them coming!!
BEST VID YOU've MADE!
Nice and easy ... Bad ass snap on gloves you have there..!!!
Omg this was an awesome video bring us more of these how to videos.🤗🤗👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great video Joel!
Great video and with the tool you were using it was pretty damn fast thanks for sharing.
Nice, and straight forward. Thank you
Awesome time saving tip and tool thanks
One of the best tools out there especially if your working on a lot of Honda/Acura’s. Not bad of the price either, with the time you save it’s worth the price.
Very good video one of the better ones I have seen very well done
Might use this method for my Honda S2000. Thanks for sharing!!!
Good job guy. Thanks for sharing

Awesome vidoe brother appreciate it!
The 3 inches of blood outro made me smile
Man you automotive guys got it easy!
shouldn't the forward bushing be tightened when the suspension is at ride height? thanks.
Great tool, saves time
Worked great thank you, 07 accord dident have to remove axle nuts.

Nice tool homie fast jobe
Does this same method apply for the 2009-2016 with the vertical bushing in the aluminum holder? I am having a time breaking the ball joint loose.
I’m trying to find this tool cannot find anymore, there anybody knows where I can buy this tool thanks guys
Where did you get that bushing from? I only see ones with slits inside them.
I would love to have a tool like that
Which manufacturer product would you recommend for the lower contro arm bushings for my 2008 TL-S?
Thank you
Nice Video. Do you know if this on vehicke method works for 08 Toyota Solara?
YES, Joel got to use his new pry bar.
I like how it said 'no impact' on the nut!😂😂 fair play Joel! Haven't got time 4 that shit! Great video as always m8!👍

I’ve warrantied the Long bolt a few times. The threads thin out but it has a lifetime warranty on it so I don’t care.
great job..
Eric you honda lovin know it all!! you sold out!!! I ❣️ IT keep up the great work Bud love the new shop also btw...quick ? My inner tires are wearing quick the alignment is perfect...compliance bushings not so much do u think I should start there?New oem struts also...
tnx
Could have used that when I replaced most of the front end on my daughter's car. Does that fit Nissan or slightly different?
Great video when you do the bolts right up on the control arm you should do it up with bit of lowed on it or at ride height. It stop the bash's from tearing. Just a idea. Thanks.
Nice video
Do more of these!!!!!!
Thanks
Hi !! Are any replacement bushings good? Thanks!
Maybe you can help me with tthe name of the sockets im looking for they have like an extension and the wobble end with the six point on the end of them i seen them in on of your videos and cannot figure out what they are called thank you
What is the minimum torque to put out and in? Can we use manual tools with long bar as extention?
"No Impact" ... BRRRRRRRRT! BRRRRRRRRRT! lol
Are these the new impact gloves Joel or the original ones ? And does that bluepoint kit only do honda or other brands ?
Quick question. Can you replace bushings on all control arms? My Crosstrek needs bushings replaced it looks like it be a lot cheaper to just replace bushings than control arms
Where to buy that special tools
Is this the same application for 2004 odyssey? Thanks
Do you have to jack the wheel up to level before tightening everything
I dunno about this mate. If you remove the lower ball joint nut, you can have it on a bench. You removed the axle nut instead, same amount of nuts but more awkward. Also, it's easier replacing the lower control arm because the ball joints are riveted in. So if your bushing is gone here, your lower ball joint bushing isn't far behind. Also, if you buy the whole arm, you don't have to press anything out at all. Way easier and better value for money
@schifoso

It's much more for the whole control arm than just the bushing.
Do we have to torque it back on to a specific amount?
Thumbs up. Good video. However, I wish you'd address the inquiries as to why you didn't torque down the control arm fasteners under load as several sharp viewers are pointing out. I'm curious about that as well.
01 odyssey. At highway speed the van veers right when foot taken off accelerator. The steering wheel a actually ticks slightly left when this happens. Then the van corrects itself when accelerator is pressed again. And goes back to straight. There is tiny tie-rod play both sides. Tires have even wear. Van cluncks front left when accelerating after coming to a complete stop. Front and upper right motor mounts were just replaced. My nephew replaced both struts and springs about a month ago. Passrnger side vertical control arm bushing has some cracking. Van has 191,000 miles. All rubber suspension bushings were replaced at 135,000. Plus motor and tranny mounts.
More videos like this!
I have a question I can see that the bushing u replaced in the video is the same i see in my honda civic but it looks damaged. When i drive above 60 mph my steering wheel starts to shake u think thats the reason why its doing that.
Did you get the bushings from honda let me know thanks
Sweet
Thanks for the video. Curious why this bushing seems to fail over time, but the other horizontal bushing doesn't have the same issues. At what point do you feel you should replace the entire arm with new bushings and ball joint vs. just replacing this bushing.
@May16Joe
Жыл бұрын
It depends on the people. Some people prefer original honda parts but a lower control arm is around $400 but the bushings are around $60 each so they rather replace the bushings only. Some people don't care about original honda parts and buy a new aftermarket lower control arm for $70.
Wow you make this look so easy!! Why do mechanics say it’s more labor to replace the bushing then replacing the control arm?
Does this bushing tool work for the 08 accord?
Can this be done a TL
Would the same procedure be for 99-04 odysseys?
I think that the direction ball joint is not fixed right because the curvature of the ball joint axle goes always to the inside to avoid the wheel , correct if I am wrong
Cool video but did anyone else notice that big chunk of metal that came off @ 7:58 ? Will that be a big deal? I’ve been thinking about replacing my own bushings so I’m watching these videos.
Would you need an alignment after replacing just that bushing
BAM !!!
does replacing control arm bushings help steering feel better?
I'm about to do this for my Toyota Corolla, and watched your great video makes me nervous! hope all goes ok, will not be doing in the Toyota dealership, but CB, is very expensive as well!..
Cool beans
Nice. Dealer wants 2 grand to replace on my odyssey. I think I’m gonna do myself
oh the csx, one of the cars we didnt get in the us. I would love a civic si with leather but not in the usa
Can this method be used for a 8th gen civic? (2006-2012)
Awsome video, my dealer told me yesterday that snap-on has a new brushless 18v 1/2'' impact out now , maybe you could ask Tyler and see if it is true thx keep rockin.

Thanks man. Just the horizontal bolt but honestly I’ve never seen a torn horizontal busing in 20 years of doing this.
Where are you located ? California by chance?
Can I do this on a 2000 intrepid???
How long did this job take approx? What is the cost for this job?
How did you live before having those snap on pry bars
What kind of noise does a broken control arm bushing make?
