It is also good to consider changing the thermostat at the same time if its been in there a while, especially with everything out of the way and drained.

Kristopher mathis I know this is like 2 years too late but if you’re still looking, go buy a Mishimoto XJ radiator. They’re 400$ but they work so well I would’ve paid double what they charge if I had to.

It's an air tool. All the shops use them as well. Basically the same as what you see the nascar guys use except he's using an air ratchet instead of an air gun in this video.

+cableboxelite It's a cordless (rechargeable) screwdriver. From the color I'd say it's a Black and Decker brand. You can get flexible cable extensions for them, kind of like the extension drives for a Dremel. Edit: Mac and Snap-on also sell tools with the same general color scheme. Tyler would have to verify the actual brand.

+IB aSchmuck Yes, its the Black and Decker. I picked it up at Wally-World for $14. It really comes in handy when removing trim panels and interior pieces. If you've got the room to use it, its a lot faster than a ratchet.

Each time I hear the "radiator spring" thing in the auto parts store or on Amazon, I cringe knowing they're repeating a KZread video from 2 guys who didn't know this was a factory thing that was fixed in later advancements of hose technology.

Overheating at high speed is almost never a fan problem, it's a coolant flow problem. If that Prestone is the long life type you should get it all out of there and replace it with the old standard type. That sealant was the wrong type to use, but it'll probably work anyway.
