When i added RAM in my laptop, the laptop didn't start, rather the added RAM start to heat and smells bad. So i immediately took RAM from laptop and turn laptop as before and it run smoothly What may be reason that RAM get overheated and how to detect problem in RAM?

there are only two problem shorting and high voltage

bhai saf krna ka bad bhi nhi cl rhi ha

mera ram kbhi kbhi pkdta h to chalu ho jata h...wrna pc chalte chalte...blue screen dead aa jata hhhhh
