I found this video whilst looking to find out how to remove the 'top stops' of an open zipper on a gilet as I want to reduce the zips length by removing a couple of inches of the teeth / coils either side of the zip and then replacing a new pair of top stops lower down the tape (the zip stop ends were scratching my neck). The commentary and explanation of this was really good with a pleasant and clear voice. The identification of the various parts of a zipper was very useful - sometime ago I was looking to identify the names of the various parts but none of those sites actually gave the assortment of components their actual name (I didn't know that the thing I was looking for was called a 'top stop' so thank you for the info). The only downside of the video is it goes 'in and out of focus' too frequently and was not as sharp in definition as needed. However, as far as I'm concerned, because the narration was top notch, I could understand the concepts and instructions easily so the visuals weren't a problem for me. Thank you the info and clear instructions.

I've watched. But I was looking for how to remove the pin box at the bottom. I have a zipper I'm not using & I need the pin box. Do you have a video?

Unfortunately you may not be able to reuse the pin box once it is removed from another zipper. A lot of the time it get damaged trying to remove it. I would recommend buying the zipper repair kit off of Amazon.
