How to remove & reuse retaining rings/clips for lawn mower or dolly wheels
Before I figured out this method, I have searched all over the internet but found nothing on this subject. I used to use a dremmel tool to cut out the teeth but that renders the ring useless afterwards. There's gotta be a better way! Let's find out!

Another way to do it is to grab the retaining ring with a pair of visegrips, and the "unscrew" it with the visegrips, pulling and turning at the same time. You must also insure the axel doesn't spin and you will be able to unscrew it eventually. This method doesn't always work, sometimes there is no clearance to grab it with the visegrips, and sometimes the visegrip jaws won't go as wide as you need. So this is a good alternate method for me.

hi, your videos helped me quite a bit so far and this is why I am asking for your opinion please, , Yet another problem another question... got new throttle new controller. Battery fully charged and throttle with lcd volt gauge turns on and shows 54v motor did spin backward and I disconnrcted self learning wires and reconnected again... I had to do it about 4 times before the rotation changes and when was working all right I disconnected everything for wire managment and then motor not spinning, I cheched throttle is working and sending signal but the motor seems to not receiving electricity at least not from 3 phases wires, if anyone have a suggestion I'll be happy to hear it . this is puzzling me ...HELP oh I tried this ...connect only the : Battery, 3 phases, hall sensor, throttle/keyswitch and still volt gauge shows full battery throttle working, controller gotvoltage where I expect to find some but motor not moving, almist as if a brake power off like handle brake lever was somehow interfering

Different beast, circlips come as internal or external versions, or circlip pliers grip points , eyes in = internal circling, eyes out = hat version you referred to = external circlip
