Great video… quick tip Luts usually go at the very end - last node. For color space transformations use the CST effect and again usually at the end unless CST to a wide color space, adjusting nodes then at end CST to r709.

Great tut, you said that the spectoral NR I think you meant spacial NR only affects chroma noise but Temporal NR does change chroma NR too

Fun tutorial, though I'd ask why you choose to not unlink the Luma / Chroma in Spatial NR, whilst almost every other NR tut on here does so (with no explanation, it just seems to be the accepted wisdom and I assumed it had to do w Luma spatial being too aggressive..)

This is how a tutorial should be.

Great tut man! tank you. I can't remember now but I'm sure there is a way to group grade together and then apply NR to a group to make life easier with bigger projects. If u know what I'm on about and can do a video on that, that'd be cool

Umm, it's not "spectoral" (there's no such thing), it's spatial, and that has nothing specifically to do with color noise. That is "chroma" noise. Just saying. Like your channel.

This noise reduction will stop a lower powered PC in its tracks. I have an RTX3070 TI, Ryzen 3600 and 32GB RAM with NVMe storage. Can't render anything with this method of noise reduction, Resolve crashes every time.

@@Danvinci1 Ok, it turns out that my project must have corrupted during my first render attempt. I couldn't even render in place as even loading my project resulted in Resolve crashing. I went back to an earlier backup, and all is working fine, even without using render in place. Thanks for taking the time to reply Dan, appreciate your work! This NR method is fantastic, especially with GoPro footage which can be noisy in lower light levels.

Hey dude ! Love the videos ! Just a heads up : Was searching for your name "danvinci" but youtube had a hard time and was thinking i was writing it wrong. Came to the paintings and the original davinci, or different davinci resolve editing videos. But in the end youtube understood! Just a heads up that your name on youtube gets a "did you mean da vinci ?" Correction in the search menue 🫣
