Did you know that if you connect the output of one node to the output of another, a merge node will automatically be created?

Missed an opportunity to mask the shine with the same rectangle mask as the rectangle masking your white background node. Teach people what's cool about nodes!

Yes once you've finished you should be able to just drag and drop them into your projects from the power bins

i cannot follow,whenever i drag the arrow from the mask to the text,the text will disappear..any solution how to fix it?thanks

When I put this over a video it just shows a black backround with the box but I can't see the video I put it over.

I have a problem... I followed all your steps and they work ok until I get to the TEXT. I add the text box, type in my name. Move it to the white box where it disappears. I don't see my name at all. I run the clip. the box comes up and it is just an empty white box. What am I missing? Thanks!

It’s hard to help without seeming your node tree but off the top of my head you might have put the text before the white background making it go behind the white layer. Hope that helps

@@Danvinci1 I think I'm having the same issue. When I copy what you've done up to 6.10 snapping the Mask to the node now hides the text. I tried different ways and couldn't figure it out. I pressed on and joining the Mask node to the Merge3 (for the KZread icon) also hid it. I'm not sure if there's Z layers or similar going on? I started from a blank project and copied it exactly (very slowly!). Is there an option I'm missing? Thanks for the great videos.
