Hi: I went through many recommendations which included: vinegar, baking soda, dishwashing soap, and even tooth paste. I also bought different spray detergents that were categorized as degreasers. After spending some money and a lot of work while trying all these products, I came across this video. I bought the Bar Keepers at a local drug store for $1.99. Honestly, I had given up on having a clean bathroom glass door, but I was giving myself one more shot at it with this product. Followed the video instruction and for the first time in a year, it looks like new. I really recommend Bar Keepers, it works😊. Thanks for the video, you saved me money and time!

Works great on water spots on your vehicle glass

You can use Bar Keeper's Friend on stainless steel with a non-scratching pad. It is amazing and took off years of baked on grease. Nothing else worked. I will try BKF on my shower door next!

Can i use the product on stainless steel appliances such as a refrigerator?

I wash dishes with BKF. and BKF cleans much better than any others.

I do type this product does work. even on a heavily hard water stain on glass it works. You might have to do more than one application but it works.

I had high hopes of BKF working toward cleaning similar looking shower glass stains, as shown in the video. Thus far, I have tried other products along with a myriad of home remedies. I came home with the BKF Foam bottle product that I found next to their original powder product in my local Bed Bath & Beyond store. I followed the video directions and, it did NOT make a dent in removing any of my hard water stains. I tried several times, left the foam on the surface for minutes, tried scrubbing for 5 minutes, and so on. No different method nor the specific directions on the bottle had any effect in removing any of the window streaks and spots. Is it possible that the original powder might work rather than the foam product?

Andy, for tougher hard water deposits, the powdered cleanser will likely be a better choice for you. We recommend using a non-abrasive sponge.

I just bought Bar Keepers Friend and tried it on the shower glass. It did absolutely nothing. I hope you're getting paid well for this bullshit advertising.

I wouldn't use this on stainless steel appliances unless you dont care if you scratch the heck out of it . Stainless should only be cleaned with warm soapy water and a very soft cloth
