Yes indeed this works I tried it on my shower doors.👍🙋‍♀️

This does work and Bar Keepers Friend is a great product...however, it is pretty labor-intensive for glass shower doors. An absolutely awesome alternative is a product called Citrol, which is a terrific cleaner for most things that are difficult to remove.

This really worked for me....so happy with results 👍

Great product... but Why is there hard water and scum on the outside pane of glass of the shower, not the inside where the water is?

Nahhh... if that much condensation was on the outside it would mean the whole room would have to get super steamed up and would go mouldy. Maybe this room is like that but it’s unlikely. That scale build up happens on the inside of the shower. Can the video poster weigh in please?

is it a eco safe product and will it scratch

Cleaning vinegar will work faster and less chance of scratching the glass.

I live in Hawaii and we have some pretty hard water. I have got nothin to even make a dent in the hardware on my shower glass. I'm gonna try this but I'm very skeptical, I have literally tore my fingers apart trying to get the hard water off the glass. Nothing seems to take it off. Everyone claims their product works .. so if we have this in Hawaii homedepot, ill pick it up tomorrow and do a REAL test.

@@vanessacarter6342 wow I forgot about this thanks for reminding me.. okay so I tried it out.. couldn't get it to work.. I started to march up and down my hallway bitching to my wife that every video I watch makes all these big claims that their product works. It did not work for me at FIRST... Then I wanted to show my wife... Jokingly I mimic the guy in the guy in the video. I did exactly what he said. After a minute I'm standing there with a small crystal clear spot in my glass. My wife laughed at my amazement. So in short YES, it works. Better than any product that I have tried to use. However, it took over 2 hours to get the glass clean.. I was scrubbing forever!!!! But this is the only product that has ever been able to get off these crazy hard water spots. I'm sold, I love this product.. so cheap, so effective.

Bobby Thank you for the update. I’ve just bought the product and I wanted to know how others found the product. I am so glad that you had a good result.

Didnt work for me and my door wasnt that bad ended up using a car polisher and cutting compound.

I've tried so many things, including the BarKeepers Friend liquid cleanser and it didn't work but I haven't tried the powder. NOTHING is working! What brand of cutting compound did you use? Meguiar's Ultimate Compound works well on my vehicle but I'm not getting my hopes up for my shower glass 😥

This product doesn't work. Took a tiny bit of soap scum out but left alot. There is a "haze" on the glass of soapscum remaining. And thats after about 5-10mins scrubbing in one spot with a sponge.

As barkeeper's friend has a pH of about 2, it will work a lot better on hard water/mineral deposits, as shown in this video, than it will on soap scum (which is a greasy/waxy composite of soap, skin, and body oil).

I bought the spray on type, will it work the same?

I bought today the spray and I’m not happy the results scum still there

just use #0000 steel wool my friend

Bought it it does not work

It works but its NOT easy with hand,i ended up using car polish machine+BKF and still have to do like 3 -4 times on some areas to get rid of the 20+ years hard soap stain on shower glass.

I'm providing this product in VietNam :P
