@@rjarivi lol. I literally had to use a different chair. Mine wouldn't budge. I used a 4 pound cross peen smithing hammer, and hit it from every angle for like, 20minutes before i gave up. I used wd40, mineral oil, rubber mallets, everything I had. If it's not stuck, it works though. The other chair took me about a minute.

I used a strew driver and a hammer to take off the tilt mechanism

@@alex-l7747 titl mechanism is fine and ez. We are taking about removing hydraulic from the mechanism. Update about mine. I used wd40 but I thought it was gonna work and I Recorded but it didn't. But I got a new office chair (which I returned now) but I booked a assembly for that via urban company and I asked tat person to remove and hed did used the same hammer just like me but it came off with just 2 hammering. After that I realised that I used the chair updown to ease my view but the technician did in side angle and I think when I used wd 40 it really did come off a lil bit but the thing is I had the up-down maybe thats why it kept going inside after coming off little. We need to place chair in a side angle and while hammering keep pulling it out.

Worked so well I completely broke my chair

Thanks. I was trying to get the tube out of the chair base for an hour until I saw this. Held the tube, hit the base and it popped right out. Who knew?

Lmao unless u r sitting on it for 2+ years and it is stuck together like super glue. I ttied everything. Beating on it like crazy with hammer or tried to loosen it by trying to turn it with wrench but that thing is hard stuck in my base
