Iv’e just picked up a Sealey heat induction tool, it works wonders and you don’t have the worry of the naked flame in difficult to reach areas. Might be something to invest in the future 👍🏻.

In areas where roads are salted in winter, copper grease will give galvanic corrosion. Instead use aluminium pasta or waterproof grease.

@@GeorgeAusters It is not common knowledge up here in Norway either. Even BMW makes this error, using coppergrease on brakes and suspension. Screws/bolts snaps off. By use of products like aluminium, that will be anodic towards steel, screws and bolts comes off smoothly after years in salty conditions. I am by education corrosion engineer :-) and know a lot about these reactions.

Hi George. I’m using E60 525i 2004-2010 production line. I would like to ask you to produce 2 video clips , one for how to change the upper control arm ball joint and bushing without replace it with the brand new upper control arm and another one is how to deal with the steering rack issue on this model, if possible it will help the BMW owner to save much money to fix those themself. Thank you.

I will suggest you, to try a ball joint separator. It work 's really good. no hammer,no heat at all. you just screw the bolt, and pop out.sometimes, the difficult one, you have to srew the bolt with more forse, but it's ok. And they are not expensive (I am not talking about the hydraulic).

@@GeorgeAusters Don't know if you know George but you have to get this tracked on the hunter system because of the camber on the E46, you can't just do the front. I got my E46 tracked around 7 times + but couldn't ever get it perfect turns out the rear trailing arm bushes were shot but it's well documented if you ever look at any of the forums or go to a professional wheel alignment center, the E46 needs to be put on a 4 wheel laser tracking system, The hunter system being one of the best for BMWs.
