The gauge lights on the speedometer and the right hand side gauges are out on my 07 Silverado 1500 truck. Do you have a video on how to replace those bulbs? Or a do I have to replace the whole cluster? What is a cluster run ?

quick question my 2010 sirverado start to fade the dashboard light turns on during the day but off at night time ,, so what it could be the issue i dont think is the bulbs inside the dash cause they turns on pretty good during the day but goes off at night

Could be the cluster itself, could be the solar sensor, or something in the truck that's telling the lights to turn on or off due to light or lack of light.

Could this be the problem for my check engine light not lighting up at all ? Even thought everything else lights up. Bc I failed my inspection over that. Also is there a fuse for a checking engine light?

Question is there a upgraded gauge assembly replacement for the 2007-2014 Tahoe/Yukon/Sierra/Silverado? That gauge assembly is plain and out of date for that year vehicle, much improved on the 2015 and up.

No. Only thing we could do is change the greenish backlighting to a more modern bright white. If you have a base model 4-gauge cluster you can also upgrade to a 6-gauge like the video.

Can you use a 2007-2014 cluster in a 2003? No. You need to use a 2003-2005.

Is it possible to swap a 2011 Silverado's cluster with a 2014 Silverado's guage cluster? And if I were to do that, what should I look out for?

These clusters have to be programmed to your specific VIN. As far as we know, the 2011 clusters and 2014 clusters are not interchangeable, so the VIN programming won't work and therefore the 2014 cluster won't function properly when installed in a 2011 model.

When you unplugged the cluster from the cord, did it lose it's odometer reading and other info?

@@TaninAutoElectronix Ahh, thank you. I was just looking to put a new overlay on it. My speedometer has the 20-40-60 and so forth, and it kinda throws me off. I like having the 10-20-30 and so forth. XD

The cluster is working since it goes form 0 to 80. It's just doing what it's being told to do. The problem is elsewhere

We'll have to keep an eye out for that! While we do sell many replacements of these clusters, we just haven't had a customer tell us that's what their issue was (yet). I'm having an issue I thought you might know about I have an 08 Silverado Z71 just started it today the mileage and everything was flashing now the oil pressure is reading 40 not running folding reading 16 not running the fuel is showing half not running and when it is started they all maxed out except the temperature speedometer and tach are working any ideas

The search option on the website wouldn't work for me. I was only able to put in the make and it wouldn't do anything else.

Good morning, I'm sorry it is giving you that issue we will have someone troubleshoot the issue. As a work around after you enter your Make on the home page press Search, on the next page you can enter your Model and Year on the right side column.

How much are plug and at clusters for an 07 silverado? I just dont want to go thru the hassle of sending it in and waiting to get it back. Thanks in adv.

Depends specifically on part number/VIN. Typically the standard 2007 cluster without off road package goes for $279 fully programmed and rebuilt.

Hey Jeff, thanks for being patient, but unfortunately, we don't have much experience related to engine swaps. We can provide replacement instrument clusters, but we don't know what adjustments or extra steps are involved with the engine swap. Sorry we couldn't be of more help, but let us know if anything else comes up!

2009 Suburban LT - 1500 5.3 L. The gauge cluster does not have the “Relearn Keyless Remote” module. And it asks to “Service the Suspension System” which this model does not have. Is it possible to reprogram the existing cluster with correct software? TY JIMc

Cannot reprogram the incorrect cluster for the vehicle. It sounds a different cluster was installed that will not work for your truck. Would need more details.

Do these retain the odometer and engine hours?

If you replace the gauge cluster with a different one the odometer will not be the same.

Hi I have a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe n the problem is as I'm driving the cluster turns completely off n then back on as if I'm turning the key off n on n also seems to do it when temps drop below 60 degrees very very strange " any suggestions " thanks

Thanks for watching! If you're only removing the instrument cluster, it's usually not necessary to disconnect the battery. But if you want to be extra careful, it won't hurt to disconnect the battery either.

Does the 4 Wheel Drive Engaged bulb go out?

The miles should show on the left display screen, under the RPM gauge, but it's common for the display screens on these clusters to stop working. If your display screens are dim or completely blank, you might need to have your instrument cluster repaired: bit.ly/2007-2014-gm-truck-repair
