That's what I did.. A lot of other people say you HAVE to replace the mosfet but if it's still working I don't see why it's necessary... and like you say you will be able to see if the mosfet is blown or cracked pretty easily...
Wao! You rock buddy. The video was straight to the point and extremely informative to make the process easy. Thank you and keep up the good work.😊
Great video! Thanks a bunch. I just fixed my 2007 Tahoe by watching this video. I did the disassembly/assembly and re- installation and my son soldered the connections. There's other videos but yours covers the fine details. Thanks again.
Thanks you so much I finally know what is wrong with my Tahoe unfortunately was too late the part is already burned but thanks to you video I knew how to remove it
EXCELLENT video I have no fear about doing the exact same repair on my 08’ Silverado Your next post needs to be an instructional video to help other content creators understand the correct way to make an informative concise as well as interesting video I am now a subscriber Thank you !!!

Im having the same issue the PRND is not flickering. Are you able to show what solders control the right screen?
Great job explaining this.
What is the connection you used to test it while you were working on the table?
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. Is it possible to change the culster lights' color? Like blue for 2013 gmc yukon denali xl. Thanks

Sounds like you shorted something out to ground...
So when it starts dropping a digit or tries to dim down, this is the place to resolder the cold joints????
