Thank you for your honest, candid take. It's very refreshing and authentic, and I can tell from a musician / creator's perspective.. 🙏
Thanks Jon. Honestly I stopped watching your videos a while back shortly after COVID hit. I can’t remember exactly why - possibly because I didn’t like some of things you said or your gear and software in your tutorials were expensive, could not transfer to freebies and I just wasn’t there skill-wise. I recently started watching again and appreciate your brutal honesty in the advice you give. It’s tough getting started and staying motivated when there’s so much competition. Or is that inspiration? Furthermore, now that I am more knowledgeable about making music your tips make more sense and help a lot more. Thanks again for videos like this.
Thank you for the tips Jon. Congrats on your new tune!
Thank you for staying an inspiration I'm glad you're still going at, still listening your tracks are itttt!
Thanks for the insights. Could you go deeper on the distributer part? What distributor are you using (if its not a secret)? I comparing now the one to work with and honestly, don't really want to go with Distrokid. Was thinking about ONErpm but not sure.. In general, not sure about anything when it comes to distributors.. A lot of false/promoted info online really hard to get a clear insight. Would be wonderful to get your opinion about that. And congrats on the release sounds good
Been checking in from time to time and love to see how the studio has evolved :) Looks very futuristic… except for the wood shop clamp :)
Just downloaded the extended mix from Beatport - well done! Best of luck Jon....
Let's goooo!
Thank you for this info. As a Dj/Producer (House Music) trying any way to promote releases
Wish you luck with it my friend and thanks for sharing
I couldn’t said it better, Jon!
Great video ! I was planning an album - but no reason for that now that I consider it - my songs are all different anyway right now
Jon - when are coming to the Brighton Music Conference in the UK?
Jon love ur videos and music great job... question... what is the red thing that is sticiking out of the back of your monitor? :D
trust me ur missing out on tiktok so hard rn. It's the number one most effectiv way to promote music for free to huge audienced nowadays. for example, the song i dropped 30 hours ago is already at 20k on spotify, just because 3 videos I posted went a little viral. Tiktok is the meta, tiktok is the most op thing for every musician in 2023
Hey i want to know if my song is ready for spotify is there any way i could send it to you?
Thanks for the tips Jon. Which music distributor would you recommend?

to be honest, there is no perfect distributor. each of them has some kind of dirt on it. but i can recommend distrokid. you keep 100% and can upload as many songs as you like without extra costs. only stuff like youtube content id costs extra.

honestly fully disappointed by all of them. the small ones are basically a scam and the bigger ones take 9-25 % and only take small to big labels
What's up big bro Thanks for reminding me about the release I pre ordered it so I gotta go download it right quick My question is about transmission your 1st thing that you released earlier this year on your new label so I guess basically you followed the steps that you Just laid out about how to release because I had a question about Transmission because since you wasn't using your Jon Sine name you are like a new artist and so people didn't know who you were so I was just wondering how you got all that momentum to reach number 5 on a Beat port chart So your promotion was like through your KZread channel your social media telling your friends and just letting your song your track do the work once it was released on beat port Am I correct about that And congratulations About the new addition to your family

yes you only need 300 sales and it was in January a very weak month @ Beatport
what's his label name?
Hey Jon, how long did it take in your journey of production before you were actually happy and proud of your tracks?

Being disgusted by your own work is part of the creative process. At best you'll be simultaneously proud and ashamed of what you've done.
when are you planning on sending out the sample pack from pre-ordering the new track? I sent an email across 9 days ago but haven't had a reply, thanks
@Jonsine
