How can these data recovery software's say they can recover data off a hard drive even if it is not seen by Windows when my hard drive is still seen by Windows but the software can not see my hard drive and it just freezes my PC until I unplug the faulty drive.

Do you mean that the hard drive you want to recover is not shown in the data recovery software?

@@MasterTECHONE Yes, it just locks up everything and I can't even just exit the program, I have to do a hard shut down to get out of it.

It seems to me that your hard drive is broken. Please install the Cristal Disk info software and check the health of your hard drive.
