Thank you so much! This is an amazing tutorial. Accidentally erased some of my drawing backups the other night...and my main file ended up being corrupted from an error.. and was worried they were gone forever but luckily with this tool I was able to recover all my former backups of the file.

Excuse me, do you know a particular file recovering software that can completely scan my hard drive for files I have deleted a long time ago well over a year ago and recover them for myself? Is it true just because you delete the files whether on your pc screen or recycle bin does not mean the file is completely gone? For example, would it be possible to recover my files I deleted in 2016 and 2017?

Kevin .. it's easy to recover files or deleted data on the same day. But! Have you tried to recover files and data deleted after a week or a month of permanently deleting them? I think you can only do expensive programs, and recover files for half a full day

I have just tried this and found it easy to do, unlike the Microsoft File Recovery App. As far as I know, I was able to recover most of the files. I watch a lot of your videos as I find them easy to follow, clearly spoken and I can trust what you say.

Brilliant! Needed this. Sometimes I put things in the recycle bin, knowing I can get them back, and they will take less space. I just put them back on my desktop when I need that .. but , then a couple weeks later I clear my recycle bin and.. By the way, love the comedy in this video especially the ‘ critical content ‘ lol! Also Kevin, could you do some ‘ vlog content ‘? More video ideas. Best video editor for low end computers, more product reviews maybe, like tech gadgets and big unboxings. Thanks 🙏

Hi Kevin, I was transferring some files/folders (pictures & word docs) from my laptop to USB to create space. I am not sure if the full transfer took place as now I could not find the files or folders on the laptop or the USB. Also, I have lost some files/folders and contents of some folders (folder show empty) which I did not transfer. There is nothing in the recycling bin. I have made a search in File Explorer but could not find anything. Is there a fix I could use? I am not an IT guy.

If you accidentally delete a file, the #1 priority is to not write anything new, or modify anything, on the drive where you deleted the file. -- Downloading Recuva is the same as creating a new file, which could overwrite the file (or a portion of the file) that you accidentally deleted. -- Installing Recuva is the same as creating new files, which could overwrite the file (or a portion of the file) that you accidentally deleted. It would be ironic if the tool you want to use to recover your file ends up being the culprit responsible for preventing you from recovering your file. When you go to download Recuva, you should save it to a flash drive, and run it from the flash drive. (note that Kevin did nothing wrong, because he downloaded and installed Recuva on his main drive, while his deleted files were on his flash drive) I am pointing out the above, in case you ever run into this situation -- do not install Recuva on the drive where you need to recover your files (and this applies only if you deleted files, followed by downloading and installing Recuva). The best situation is if you download and install Recuva, before you ever need it. Then, if you ever need to recover files, just run the already installed Recuva. Cheers!

i really thank you a lot kevin you have saved my life from my mom's beatings what happened is when i was saving my pictures and files sudenly my files were all deleted i don't know how it happened to my pc i have checked 3 to 4 times in pc my files were no where else i was crying a lot in my room if my mom would have to come to my room she'll beat me but it didn't happen. at the same time i got a notification of your video in my chrome then i was excited when i got you video i thought i was saved i did same as you did in the video my poor pics and my files were back thank you so much kevin it's all because of you really thank you a lot 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

few weeks ago my office 2007 isn't working anymore . I tried and tried and no luck . ive stored my college book files word docs . you know that what would be happening 😁✨✨. after that day I installed office 2016 ( free version ) .

Worked like a charm! I misplaced some project from my years studying video production. Realised I must have deleted them when purging files many years ago. Luckily I still had the backup drive but never reused it so the data was just easily recoverable. Many thanks for this video!

If I scan the recovery process why text file be converted to shortcut file automatically and I recover that file it shows me shortcut file and I am not able to open that text file.

Hi Kevin, I have not been able to find a fix it for my issue. If you know why this would happen or how to fix it, could you do a video for us? I am sure others in the world are having the same problem with their Lenovo Windows 11 HP laptop too. When I open any folder from my desktop to work on something inside that folder, such as a document ( folder named "Book") I typed from Word or a design I made from Canva (folder named "Canva designs", or just opened up a folder to look at family pictures" (folder named "family Photos"), I get one random document or photo from any folder on my desktop, show up as an icon on my desktop, when I close out the folder I was working in. What would cause one document, out of any random folder on my desktop I didn't even open or save, turn up as an icon on my desktop? Also, some of my system folders randomly pop up on my desktop or turn a document that is in my system folder into an Icon and show up on my desktop, after I close a folder I was working in. accidently deleted a small folder of 31 car photos on drive c: , immediately found your vid and follwoed instructions, it did find files of correct looking names but some had different photos (like random pics from website cash etc) in them rather than the actual photos , some didnt load at all / corrupt. is there a better programme than this?

Bit of an issue here, i lost all the data on a win 10 pc because of a reinstallation of windows. reinstallation happened because the drive was encrypted with bitlocker, and i couldnt even get into the pc. so in in the pc now but the hdd is nearly empty... with no windows.old folder or anything in file history either. so i downloaded disk drill to see what it could find... and it wouldnt even scan. the hdd: (toshiba wtvr) was highlighted in red and a log popped up saying "fatel exception happened inside unhandled exception handler" then the program crashes. bummer. Any help would be appreciated!
