The flaps that direct the air are not working

Make sure not to fill on the wrong port. It come in high and low port. Check the head of the cap, L - is the low port and H - is the high port. L port is your go to port for refill

The high and low port should be different sizes anyways so you should be able to make it mistake!!!!

I have two of these ports right next to eachother on my e550 how do I know which one is the low port?

Just check the caps of the pressure line it should have a L for low P and H for High P

@@limiko2402 yea I had two black caps with nothing written, Probably a Mercedes’ thing. But I found out they are different sizes so it’s impossible to recharge the wrong end.

​@@limiko2402 Thanks. It was actually an easy fix the clutch had burned out and swapped it with a new one and i'm back in business. Good thing I was able to replace because It probably would have cost me 1000+ for a new compressor with installation.

what's the best AC Kit to use?

1998 C43 A/C issue - does this system have a "blow off" valve if the system pressure is too high? 2 weeks ago it was 100 degrees and I was on the highway going about 65 - air blowing nice and cold. All of a sudden I heard a belt squeal followed by steam/vapor/gas coming out both sides of the car. Initially I thought the cooling system blew but a quick glance at the temp gauge showed the engine was fine. I then noticed that the air was no longer blowing cold. What I saw was the freon escaping. I've checked the codes in the HVAC display - none. I've also checked the pressure - 6.6 - so clearly low. I can't find anything obviously wrong with the hoses nor the condenser w/ a rock strike or crack. They all look good. Normally when freon is leaking there would be a wet spot from the oil. I'd also think with the gas venting out in such a spectacular fashion a breach would be obvious. I can't find anything wrong on a visual inspection.

you might have a leak in your a/c lines, or your compressor needs to be replaced

When this happens it means your low on refigerant and you need to top up...mine was same on my car warm one side...when I topped up became cold on both sides of vents..

It’s still blows out warm air & my red light still blinks 3 times... but the ONLY thing I tried was trying to put antifreeze in it... but it started gushing out. I’m glad u said I did it right because this guy is trying to charge me for a new condenser👎🏾

Hi LAM. If the refrigerant "gushes out", then the hose probably is not on the can tight enough. The hose should be screwed onto the refrigerant can tightly. There is a pin on the inside of the hose that penetrates the can to open it.

These adapters mostly come with low pressure inlets so you can't go wrong

It’s on the driver side with blue cap

Holding your bottle wrong. Didn't say anything about putting on recirculate air setting. Look up how to hold the bottle. When compressor kicks on is when you fill

This is how to use a can of refrigerant. Nothing vehicle specific as implied by title.

Gomez need a new AC compressor then.

You need to fix the leaks first before you charge or you just keep on charging it when it low again. Thanks for release Freon in the air.

If you didn't know, it is normal to have to refill A/C due to diffusion and the seals. No seal is perfectly sealing the system, most of the loss is located at the compressor. But definitely, if you have to refill once a month or once a week, then you need to check for leaks.

@@del7i540 evaluates the whole system to remove moisture and refills with the correct weight of refrigerant and compensates lost oil in the system not incorrectly filling it up by pressure from an aerosol.
