How to read OTDR graph correctly || OTDR Graph fully explained

Hello friends in this video we have explained the complete parameters of the OTDR. This video is going to be very important for life the Optical Fiber Technicians and Engineers.
Reading the OTDR graph correctly is important else it will lead you to the ambiguities. If you are not able to properly read the graph you can't troubleshoot issues related to the Optical Fiber Communication Field

    Please, for the sake of accuracy and avoid future ambiguities, would you Clarify for me the following: 1)You are pointing out that the signal level injection = 17.2 dB; but I think it has to be instead = 17.2 dBm ( power level referred to 1mw) 2) The Y axis in dB represent Attenuation level ( loss) ,and not Power in dB Please tell me where am I wrong or confused?

    @@Fajardani88 No the negative value represents that there is core cladding mismatch at the point of splice. This can happen when you splice two different types of cable.
